It says Tony Blair and Gordon Brown had a role in planning this on BBC News. Says a lot about theirs and New Labour's politics doesn't it

You are terrible! |
Firstly I am really pleased things went over peacefully with no more than isolated very minor protest.
That is one in the eye for those who deemed those opposed to Margaret Thatcher would show how low they were by being disrespectful and totally distasteful as this funeral made its way. They weren't and they didn't either try to or in fact disrupt a single bit of the whole proceedings. So much for being really awful, lowest of the low, spiteful and bitter people.Very unfair to have branded them that before the event. Secondly, it was a good service,no doubt as to that at all, I still have my opposition to taxpayers funding for any of it and the Queen being there but it was a good service. Finally, I have to say, Margaret Thatcher had good taste in hymns,(indeed classical music too), she chose 3 really good ones. I was impressed too with her Granddaughter giving the reading, whether used to public speaking or not, that is hard to do when it is for your own Grandparent,I know how hard that can be. Literally though, thank goodness all this is over. David Cameron now cannot throw onto the back boiler the things he has hoped would be shaded out by this funeral. Call me cynical but I now have no trust in that man and believe he would likely stoop to anything even as has been said today, near hijacking a funeral. Margaret Thatcher is not to blame for any of today's issues as to this funeral that people object to, the way he and his Govt. has planned it and has used it likely too as well, is to blame though. |
God, are sky news going to report this all bloody day??

Put it on for abit. Sky News were hyping it up like it was Queen Jubilee like on the streets and then when they showed a clip it was just a couple thousand from the looks of things and a few with their back turned:joker:
Cool 10m spent.. |
