Different places have different culture and different sets of values. To claim everywhere is much the same , when everywhere is in fact different with 1000s of years of different history, culture and values is absurd. Actually, my family only came to England after the war. None of us had anything to do with the Empire and my family are still scattered across several countries. I've lived and worked in a few countries too, including the USA.
What I meant about people all being the same has nothing to do with their culture. People are people are people... some good, some bad.
