No, not at all. Having an accident that meant living on pain killers for a long time, made pain killers very moorish and difficult to leave behind when I didn't need them anymore. Just trying to make sure I don't go back there.

That one has calmed down quite a lot. The arm is ridiculously sore though - Showering tomorrow will be fun!

Mustard will apparently take the pain out of it for a while

Yea I wouldnt do that, I have been treated regularly throughout my life for pressure sores and pretty serious blisters, which for all intents and purposes are the same thing; the last one was on my foot and by the time I noticed it you could almost see the bone, (I have no feeling due to Spina Bifida).

Whilst being treated for this particular one I was provided with a waterproof cover that I had to put over my leg whilst showering to keep it dry.

Go to your doctors surgery tomorrow, keep it dry until then.

I thought you were being your usual self - I have just googled it and I'm going to actually do this now.

If this works I'll never refer to you as a ****** again.

If its stinging as well, aloe Vera lotion is very cooling and soothing.

Jesus. 29-08-2013 05:38 PM

So..........Just put mustard on it, and it instantly felt a load cooler, and it's feeling a lot better overall. The pain has been significantly reduced. I almost want to burn another part of mmy body to cover myself in more mustard.

Do it kids - it could be fun?

Lee. 29-08-2013 05:43 PM

You're welcome :)

Josy 29-08-2013 05:44 PM

Never heard of that before, just googled it and lots of people swear by it.

I'm going to try it next time I burn myself in the kitchen.

I can sense the coconut powder getting jealous!!

It really does work though - I can't believe the difference.

Nurse: "Why does your arm smell of mustard"

Jesus: "Erm"

Nurse: "I think it must be infected, i'll call the ambulance. Quarantine!"

Branston pickle is the same apparently.
But if it doesnt work you can throw a lump of cheddar a couple of pickled onions and a slice of bread on there and just have a ploughmans lunch :elephant:
