If someone can construct a well worded, witty spiel against a housemate they don't like then all the more power to them but the forum is full of just some absolutely horrendous threads by a parade of generic thirty five post douche bags who've made it their sole mission to type a barrage of uncreative, visually ugly threads and posts usually centered around one or two people who they don't like time and time again. JIM IS A SLAG LOOK AT HIM EVERYONE LOOK AT HOW HE POOED IN THE SINK ON DAY 15 DO YOU AGREE WITH HIM? THEN YOU'RE WHATS WRONG WITH BRITAIN HAHAHA. Something like that. Only stripped of grammar. Something I couldn't bring myself to enact even in mock quotation. It's got nothing to do with their right to free speech and everything to do with the fact that they are just crap posters who should be swept under the rug for that reason alone. Rhyming 'shore' with '*****' puts you neatly in that bin. Most forums do it. Here you actually have to explicitly break rules to get banned but you can drool on your kneecaps all you want in between. Put me right off the place it has. Bit of quality control wouldn't go amiss. Bit of a left of field rant I know. Bring it up in the towers or something. Sieg Heil and peace out. |

If they do watch, that's not people like Charlotte's fault, or even BB's fault but their parent's fault. |

Charlotte seems like a nice lass and all, but I kinda hope she doesn't win. She looks like she's being booked as the obvious winner of the batch, and honestly, there's already been a ton of vulgar housemates win BB (Josie, Sam, etc.)
|
I've never watched Geordie Shore and from what I've seen of Charlotte,I'm glad I havent,I see nothing exciting about her at all, don't understand the hype tbh.

Charlotte is the next in the production line of personification of modern working class youth culture defiance to follow Jade Goody (rip) and Gazza. Pissed, promiscuous, vomiting, vacuous, lewd and crude but crucially too busy throwing up to question the status quo or wonder why no one from working class Gateshead is being tipped as a future leader. But hey, who needs a profile in the Guardian* when you can live the Geordie Shore lifestyle. Rather than questioning why all potential Prime Ministers are production line Eton/ St Paul's/ Wycombe Abbey clones and striving to change this, Charlotte is the result of upper and middle class TV executives peddling unchallenging insipid lowest common denominator working class as some sort of paragon of virtue. "Our Charlotte" is hailed as great working class heroine coz she pisses her pants when " mortal " unlike those posh youths who quietly spend their time getting internships at blue chip corporations or start up tech companies developing aps, or getting work experience at Westminster. Charlotte is the opiate of the masses to pi $$ ed to challenge the establishment. * in one of those "6 up and coming people" to look out for articles. ------------- Sorry Terry Christian |

Stop blaming schools, stop blaming the media, influences and "role models". The truth is, teenagers and young adults would have a more responsible attitude towards sex if it was demystified and openly discussable at home, and that is what would lead to healthy attitudes and fewer unprotected mistakes that lead to pregnancies or STIs. Sex isn't dirty, sex isn't the problem. The problem is that it's become something so hidden and shameful that our young people don't have the confidence to do it without being drunk - and that's when poor judgement (having sex with random people) and mistakes (lack of / improperly used protection) occur. Britain is still sexually repressed. Cultures with a more honest, open and less scathing attitudes towards sexuality have fewer teen pregnances and less sexually transmitted infection. This is just fact. |

Because there are a lot of people who don't use many brain cells and because there is the crowd who uses next to none of course. There's a lot more uneducated chavs around than you think. They spout opinions around like verbal diarrhea usually copying each other as they are too lazy to read up on things on the internet so of course the brainless chavs were always going to have someone who's proud of pissi*g and *****ing as their favourite.

The girl has been acting or rather overacting since she stepped into the house. We can see through her bad performances.Maybe she should get some acting lessons when she gets out.

This is absolutely correct - it was Charlotte who noticed and flagged up Courtney's predicament. This definitely shows some level of maturity and the ability to show more than self-awareness. There have been a few little flashes of similar depth from Charlotte. I sense she might have staged the 'drunk' scene in order to fall out of bed in a comical way afterwards. I think she might have heard Carol say she had not had much to drink and that she was acting so she wet the bed to make it look like she had been drunk... |

I agree. But: unless you have some kind of magic wand to wave which will stop individual parents being embarrassed / morally disinclined to talk about sex with their teenage children then the problem will persist at a societal level. The government cannot legislate those family relationships. It can legislate what is taught in school. Studies show that in places with well designed and well taught sex education these problems lessen considerably. That cohort of youngsters are then more likely to become the parents who will teach the next generation about sex and relationships in a less cackhanded way. |

..most of the HMs in CBB are self-centred and me me me and don't really show much concern for others other than to criticise/bitch about their actions which is why it was so refreshing to see Charlotte show that concern for someone else or even to have observed it in the first place because it shows she's aware of other's feelings around her.... |
