Don't have anything immediately edible (I have pasta and rice but nothing to eat them with) and I don't feel well enough to venture outside... I have work at 5pm and I really don't think I should go but the new girl only started last weekend and it would be totally unfair to leave her by herself for her first proper weekend of work (last week I was sitting with her teaching her how to use our system) so I'm going to dose up on paracetamol about an hour before I have to leave for work and buy more on the way and hopefully be okay to last 3 and a half hours.

Just really want a cheese toastie after reading that thread yesterday :(

cheeky_monkey 29-11-2013 01:12 PM

Black Dagger 29-11-2013 01:58 PM

No it's genuinely because she's new to the job and English isn't her first language - she speaks fluently but even I find it difficult sometimes to understand people with thick Glaswegian accents on the phone and she doesn't know a lot of stuff that she'll just learn with experience and she'll need someone there to ask - our managers work from home (I've never even met them and I've worked there for a year) so it's just two of us working in the office.
