Ammi 12-12-2013 03:42 AM

...aww, that's great, Jake..you're enjoying it...?..it is a great feeling to be driving and when you pass your test, that first time without the instructor/someone with you...wow...

Jake. 12-12-2013 09:32 AM

Yeah Ammi I love it, can't wait till tonight! :)

Benjamin 12-12-2013 09:33 AM

Jake can you pick me up and take me to the shop please? I need some toilet roll.

Jake. 12-12-2013 09:34 AM

Yeah why not

Drew. 12-12-2013 09:35 AM

New drivers are likely to be involved in an accident within their first 5 lessons. Tonight's the night

Jake. 12-12-2013 09:36 AM

Bit sick that, but with any luck it involves hitting the back of your van

Drew. 12-12-2013 09:37 AM

You've done well to avoid one already

Jake. 12-12-2013 09:40 AM

I know I'm really suprised, I thought that I'd be driving on the pathway or something

Drew. 12-12-2013 09:43 AM

Think one of my first lessons was so bad he made me pull over so he could drive instead

Jake. 12-12-2013 11:31 AM

Really? :o

Drew. 12-12-2013 11:46 AM

 yeah he made me pull into a McDonald's car park to switch over and he didn't trust me, I was terrible

Jake. 12-12-2013 12:03 PM

Wow lol, I bet that was a tad embarrassing

Drew. 12-12-2013 12:07 PM

Nah wasnt too bad, was my 2nd or 3rd lesson and It was during the school run in the morning so I was all over the place

...awwww, you silly.....you've only had a few lessons and roundabouts are one of the more complicated things, so you're doing just fine, even when you've had more lessons and feel much more confident, there will be times that you go out and feel as though just about everything was wrong and feel rubbish about it ...but then the next time you go out, it all will go great and you'll be walking on air after the lesson and buzzing to take your test straight away...it's the same/been the same for all of us, Jake..that's what happens because you're doing a lot/thinking about a lot in the space of a short time and driving is a lot about repetition and you can only do that the more you drive..just keep doing the same thing...in another lesson or two, it will all just 'click', I promise you...please don't be down about it because it's honestly how we've all felt at one time but it doesn't last at all..you'll be driving those ladies around in no time at all...Cool Hand Jake.....

..yeah, but it feels like a lot to take for everyone who learns at the beginning, Jake...it isn't you so don't feel disheartened...I know exactly how you're feeling, I was like that as well but I hardly ever crash...it's no different to anything you do, it's just practise and practise and then it clicks and you'll be a great driver....when you started your job or your college course or other things you've done, you probably thought...ughhh, I have no idea what I'm doing..?...but you do....

I remember when I was 14 and first learning how to drive. Good Luck.
