I think it's just a normal year of study out there at Regensburg, his degree is Law and German so allows him to do a year between his second and third years

Looking forward to it if I can go, not been to Germany since I was a kid, Russia is a country I'd love to visit as well

Ah that's cool; a few of my friends were Law and German so they ended up graduating last year, they were in Berlin or Freiburg. Had a few friends at uni in Mainz as well. I lived in Essen!

Lee. 24-02-2014 11:35 AM

Strangely enough kizzy, I looked at that this morning!!

You seriously have no idea what you've got yourself into trying to help me find a holiday though!

It does look very nice, but it's in the resort centre which I'm not keen on.. I prefer being somewhere more isolated :) oh and my daughter would like a water slide.. Oh and air conditioning is a must :/

Where in Africa?

Locke. 11-03-2014 06:34 PM

Just done Prague, Berlin, Paris, Munich, Barcelona, and Rome. Need to decide between Cyprus or Amsterdam in May, and will do Marseille and Slovenia before the end of the year.

How long did you spend in Munich and was it enough time/was it worth the visit? I've never been, it's on my to see list.

It was raining the whole time I was there and I was staying quite far from all the sites so I didn't get to experience it properly, but the Colosseum and the general area around it was really good

6 days. Was originally supposed to stay 4 days which would have been enough time, but missed my coach so had to extend for an extra couple of days. I pretty much just spent my time there drinking but I preferred it to Berlin
