Hard to have any sympathy for this guy when he clearly lacks any common sense (2 pints of Gin, really?) and the fact that his friends told him not to do it.

..well, he's beyond sympathy now and I know it was all self-inflicted but I do have sympathy, I have sympathy for his family...
