What service are u providing and are u evangelising?

...I probably personally know around 50% or so of the people who are on a night out and lots of others, I know people who they also know so we pretty much just talk about what they're up to in their lives now etc and people that we both know...I'm not an 'angel', I sometimes go with a friend who is but she never 'preaches' any of her faith to anyone unless she's asked about it..I don't personally know anyone who does tbh ...we make sure that they have someone to go home with if they are part of a group or that they get into their taxi ok, because some of them have difficulties with that sometimes ...offer them water etc...

I think you have me down as some tambourine banging WI member.. That's not the case at all.
Even the third sector have to be vetted, and they have an important role to play as part of a muilti-agency approach to maintaining safety.
I have noted you don't feel they are beneficial.

I think it is fair enough to be vetted, at the very least they are going to be paired with someone else so they need to know that person will be safe! never mind the people they will eventually help.
