There are plenty (almost too many) books in the crime fiction genre, Karin Slaughter as previously mentioned is good, but I found her books very formulaic and once you've read one you've read them all.

I would highly recommend getting a Kindle if you enjoy reading, a hell of a lot of books are completely free, and if you use Amazon a lot you can sign up to prime, so along with the free delivery on stuff you get access to the lenders library.

I've not long finished Hostile Witness #1 which was free and was really good. The Millennium Trilogy (Girl with the dragon tattoo) is also very good.

If you like a bit of historical fiction mixed in with crime, check out the Shardlake books by CJ Sansom.

You're going to be the TIBB record holder for number of books read after this.

Well I expect to see you on the south bank show within the next 12 months, discussing the merits of radical feminist literature with Germaine Greer, and thetruth.

Sharon Osborne's is very good, you don't have to be a big fan, it's really interesting, she's very open and honest in it, she's had a very dramatic life. The woman is definitely a survivor.

Michael McIntyre's was a good read as well.

Which people interest you? Then work backwards. Look up your favourite music artists/film stars/historical figures/sports personalities. There are loads out there, but it's all bout your interests.

Mein Kampf is not a bad place to start.

That's the French for you. Too arrogant to bother writing in English.

You should tell her that "je ne regrette rien".

I do actually love France, it's probably my fave place in Europe.

I've been to Paris. Love it! French writers are very popular in my country. We study them at school.

“Do you know what Ed Gein said about women?"
[...]
"'When I see a pretty girl walking down the street I think two things. One part of me wants to take her out and talk to her and be real nice and sweet and treat her right.'" I stop finish my J&B in one swallow.
"What does the other part of him think?" Hamlin asks tentatively.
"What her head would look like on a stick”
― Bret Easton Ellis, American Psycho

“The seals stupidly dive off rocks into swirling black water, barking mindlessly. The zookeepers feed them dead fish. A crowd gathers around the tank, mostly adults, a few accompanied by children. On the seals' tank a plaque warns: COINS CAN KILL——IF SWALLOWED, COINS CAN LODGE IN AN ANIMAL'S STOMACH AND CAUSE ULCERS, INFECTIONS AND DEATH. DO NOT THROW COINS IN THE POOL. So what do I do? Toss a handful of change into the tank when none of the zookeepers are watching. It's not the seals I hate——it's the audience's enjoyment of them that bothers me.”
― Bret Easton Ellis, American Psycho

“The office Halloween party was at the Royalton last week and I went as a mass murderer, complete with a sign painted on my back that read MASS MURDERER (which was decidedly lighter than the sandwich board I had constructed earlier that day that read DRILLER KILLER), and beneath those two words I had written in blood Yep, that's me and the suit was also covered with blood, some of it fake, most of it real. In one fist I clenched a hank of Victoria Bell's hair, and pinned next to my boutonniere (a small white rose) was a finger bone I'd boiled the flesh off of. As elaborate as my costume was, Craig McDermott still managed to win first place in the competition. He came as Ivan Boesky, which I thought was unfair since a lot of people thought I'd gone as Michael Milken last year. The Patty Winters Show this morning was about Home Abortion Kits.”
