This whole players should sing the national anthem thing is a load rubbish. It doesn't prove one way or another if they're passionate or not, and ultimately who cares if they are. I like England but I wouldn't say I'm particularly "proud" of being English. Nationality doesn't mean a whole lot.

I'd rather they didn't sing it than the mumbling they do now. Just makes them look worse. If you're too embarrassed that someone will hear your rubbish voice just don't sing at all
