A whole BB without any bitching or two-faced behaviour would be a bad series imo as that's what is an element of society that should be represented imo.

Obviously there has to be some conflict and bitchyness/backstabbing, but it doesn't have to be the central theme of the show.

I agree. I love watching people's behaviour and the dynamics of the house, but the desperate people who have to be loud and bitchy to get some attention are not in the least entertaining. Those who shout the loudest usually have less to say, and BB proves that to be true time and time again. A ridiculous number of these housemates are insanely weak-willed, ready to jump onto the safest ship and do whatever they can to fit in. Sheep are not interesting.

The difference between Chris bitching and them bitching, is that they're usually doing it to cause trouble and to make things difficult for the person in question and Chris bitches to BB privately. He finds a way to co-exist without 1) gossiping with 'the cool kids' to get into their group and 2) putting people down for the sake of being 'honest'. He displays much more character and tact by trying to get along with these people - without giving into their supposed charm - rather than creating trouble because they need attention. He's also articulate and honest, whereas the others act like spoilt children.

In other words, Chris is winner material.
