I think that is crazy and shows a massive lack of compassion.

You're saying this when Sam Faiers had CHRONES DISEASE, and she wasn't let off any evictions.
hush darling

Creggle 18-07-2014 10:43 PM

So, the newbies agree to evict Kimberly...

Kimberly falls 'ill' despite zero symptoms whatsoever, gets taken to a 'hospital' and is immune from an eviction that she was 100% going to be booted from...

Jale was supposed to come on BOTS but was replaced last minute by Dexter, who has history with Danielle...

Then Danielle is evicted.

What a COMPLETE crock of horse ****. This is blatant and obvious tampering, channel 5 are disgusting. How naive are the public to go along with it????

Hospitals aren't just for people on their deathbed or with life threatening illnesses.

Oh Morsh really :hehe:

Sam wasn't diagnosed until after CBB

Sam also left the house on multiple occasions to get treatment iirc.

WhatAFix 18-07-2014 10:44 PM

Once we hear how serious her illness is it will be easier to put things in perspective. I think most people think it is important since it must be something severe to give someone a free pass when everyone else is up - until they come clean with how serious it is we can just presume - funny though how it was never mentioned again on either show tonight, a simple statement at the start that she was exempt but no further information about why she is ill and what it is....

This is so true. Nobody should wish illness on someone or question someones illness. I hate Steven and Ashleigh but if one of them was ill therefore making them exempt from tonights eviction I would NOT BE BAYING FOR BLOOD. This is grossly grossly unfair. The girl is ill, she is being treated and we wish her a good recovery

yes but did they let her off any evictions whilst she had a serious condition? No.

WhatAFix 18-07-2014 10:45 PM

And I agree Craigy_CraigO - putting all the pieces together does sound suspicious!

Achilles 18-07-2014 10:46 PM

If Kimberly was genuinely ill they could have easily cancelled the 2nd eviction. Biannca got evicted so she could have had a proper interview. They could have cancelled the dodgy eviction most didn't want in the first place.

Your name.

T* 18-07-2014 10:47 PM

This show is just dead now. has been for a long time, and channel 5 have shown that they're not interested in making the show live longer, but letting it die and beating it to death with fixes and twists.

Well her disease clearly managed to fit in with her Big Brother schedule

She didn't know she had it until AFTER the series so that is totally irrelevant :pat:

imo kimberly was ill and BB decided to keep her safe because they wanted to keep her

Wouldn't be surprised if they encouraged her to over-egg the severity of the illness.

WhatAFix 18-07-2014 10:49 PM

Will everyone who is saying it is fair she was exempt change their opinion if they find out her illness was something more simple like a runny nose? Or if the reason was something to do with other activities she has been engaged in with Steven in the past week? Just throwing that out there since we don't know the severity of the "illness" yet....it must be something severe I would think to make her exempt...

But she still had to go away for treatment and it was very apparent that she was ill. :xyxwave:

Actually the ratings are pretty good. :)

By C5's standards they are terrific..... and the show often beats what's on C4.

muchadoaboutnothing 18-07-2014 10:50 PM

No-one has answered the question (or maybe we don't know yet). but why did Kimberly have to go to hospital? What is wrong with her? (Maybe she got pregnant very quick). Regardless I believe that they should have evicted her, as that is the decision the newbies had reached, and interivewed her on BBOTS on Monday night. I amso annoyed and it does smack as if it was a fix.

In your own personal view which, sadly, counts for nothing as against the ratings. So far as the BB bosses are concerned.

Yes she did, if she had been ill before an eviction maybe she would have been spared.

The fact remains she was diagnosed after the show so your point remains irrelevant.

Kim's illness will have to be explained pretty quickly in tomorrows show I imagine or on the next BOTS - unless they say that due to privacy reasons they can't discuss it - which would be a conspiracists dream ;)

Oh by the way, just thought, was it just me or did Steven not seem particularly concerned about Kim's welfare during the eviction? There wasn't much shown obviously so hard to judge but his main concern was that all his family would find it hilarious that the crowd were chanting "2 second steven" - thought he might have been a bit worried for her seeing she is so ill and mentioned that at some point?

wendywillow 18-07-2014 10:59 PM

why would they try to save kim with a 'fix'? shes not a huge favorite - i like her ok but most people find her a tad boring, and people are bored with the showmance anyway? I don't think theres any reason to think its bs

To keep the showmance going must be the reason
