Her mother is notorious on twitter for being pushy and the word from people in Derry that know the family say they are a bunch of fame hungry idiots.

I prefer to look for myself but in the face of the twitter stuff and the reports coming in, coupled with what I am seeing for myself, she holds absolutely no redeeming characteristics for me. I have never seen a lady or nice young girl utter profanities like she does and her bitchiness is well documented so I am afraid that its a done deal that she is just plain nasty and has been found wanting.

HAHA ok then.

Everyone "the word from people in Derry that know the family say they are a bunch of fame hungry idiots" apparently lol.

Where do you get this nonsense from?

I have just done a twitter search and seen no evidence of her notorious mother do you have her official twitter account link i want to see this notorious behaviour for myself.

Also who are these people in Derry I would love to see their views if they exist.

If you are not clever enough to find your own reports, then you have no right to slag me off. Stick to posting against HM's not other posters.

All im asking is the link to Ashleighs mothers Twitter account because im clearly not clever enough to find it.

Can you post it please?

Im sorry but when you make such bold statements it would be nice for everyone to see where they come from not only that but it would make your posts a lot more credible and with sources like that who could argue back then?

No one you would be a winner.

Favourites often don't win, the celebrations in my view are way too soon as other series have shown.

Yes, but that's another argument against her. She's been guided into being a better person by punishments and had all the time in the world to change perception of her. A lot of people seem to forget the amount of warnings she's had culminating in a final warning.

Sorry but to me that is to her credit, someone really nasty who didn't care would have gone on regardless, the fact she has listened to 'authority of a sort' and been able to amend her behaviour is a good thing.

It demonstrates too that she can show respect and also look, we have only seen her have a talking to and then a final warning. When you and others can show me where there is more warnings, that are 'confirmed' and have been shown then that argument may have better substantiation.

Guided or not, her behaviour did change once it was pointed out as being unacceptable, I have lost count of the weeks ago that was now,it still shows she could do it and did do it and I say again that is to her credit.

Further condemnation of her would have been justified had she not done so and I would have been one of the first to do so too, as I did at the start of the series.

She said tonight she was the last REAL female left due to no help/passes WRONG she got a pass on the week after she got booed so every chance she would have gone, she also got one the week all females had power

Irrelevant. Ashleigh has survived evictions. Helen hasn't even been eligible to be nominated. Ashleigh and the other housemates have earned their place. Helen was gifted her place.

Exactly. There is no argument as to that.

I agree with Marsh, without Helen it is much more probable that Ashleigh would have had no major storyline whatsoever, she would have likely stayed in the background most of the time and gone in one of the weeks she was up.

She has actually also herself had 2 immune weeks to as to being nominated for eviction so she too will have got to the final with help also, and in one of those immune weeks, the all female power week, she could have gone then as it was around the time of her loud boos.

Had Helen not had the free pass,it may well have been she would have been up some weeks but not all, without the free pass the public may have viewed her differently too and possibly not voted her out anyway, depending on who she was up against.

I do think however, the free pass,is what in the main will have been a major effect on Helen not doing any better than 4th or 5th in the final and I expect Ashleigh to come 3rd.
However, I have said it many times,Ashleigh would have had no real storyline of note without her intense dislike of Helen, whereas Helen has had many storylines with different housemates.

By the way Kazanne,as to somehting you said earlier, I cannot in any way imagine you being a b...h at all,if you ever were then I bet it was the better kind however and not the 2 faced type of one that Asheigh has shown herself to be throughout the series overall.

You say Ashleigh wouldn't have any storylines of note without her 'hatred' of Helen, but you fail to point out that 'all Helen's storylines with different HM's' of note have been nasty ones. Her bullying of Jale, her nasty treatment of Chris and Christopher, her nasty arguments with Matthew, Danielle etc. Her warnings for name calling and bullying. What storyline has she had that hasn't included nastiness? Kissing Ash?
I don't see continuous nastiness and bullying as noteworthy at all...and I certainly don't see Ashleigh bitching about that nastiness and bullying as 'two faced' as you seem to because she wasn't being nice to Helen's face and she was saying what the majority of us were saying. What is your definition of two faced? :conf:

And the fact is, you can't possibly know what kind of storylines Ashleigh or any of them would have had without the presence of the awful Helen, especially in the early weeks. I don't forget how the HM's said the house was much better and they enjoyed it more when she was in the morgue....

Marsh. 03-08-2014 02:29 AM

It's noteworthy because it's basically been the singular running storyline of the entire series.

The week after she was booed, or chanted to get out, she was up with Jale. She survived. And topped the popularity polls from that moment since.

Noteworthy only for Helen's unpleasantness and for making this series one of the worst ever. What an achievement for her.

Well with respect Ashleigh had no storylines for close on the first 3 weeks of the series, all we saw was a miserable, reclusive housemate who did and said absolutely nothing of note at all.
Also all Ashleigh could do in the main, when they were in the morgue, was talk about Helen while she was out of the house.
The girl was obsessed with Helen for goodness sake,it was like she was on a mission.
She actually only got a higher profile when she started the 2 faced backstabbing of Helen and Ash and still, that is the only thing she can be highlighted for.

I cannot think of one other thing Ashleigh has done or said that brings her to the forefront of this series, other than her Helen storyline and trying to get Ash evicted to get at Helen.
A lot of spiteful acts with one spiteful aim, does not make for a good housemate in my view and certainly not a winning one either.

She has in fact had only one triumph so far in the house, that was to ensure Ash was not saved,or considered to be saved in the all female power week, a week she herself could have likely gone had she been eligible to be up since then she was well and truly booed too.
She was however, probably saved then herself by BB making her immune that week too.
Something you regularly and surprisingly overlook, she has had 2 'free' immune weeks too,to help her go further in the series.

Same here. I have 2 daughters older than Ashleigh, one of which was bullied viciously at school. I feel empathy for Ashleigh and know the place she is coming from. I think she is enormously brave for trying to weaken Helen's position in the house, and she's the one person Helen knew/knows she couldn't/can't mess with. I admire and applaud Ashleigh for that.

Nothing wrong if you did, she's built by nature to be fancied by anyone aged 10-100!

Ashleigh is the true winner of this series no matter what happens in the final.

Something you regularly and surprisingly overlook, she has had 2 'free' immune weeks too,to help her go further in the series.

What you surprisingly overlook is that Ashleigh was badly bullied at school! Then she goes into BB and finds herself in a position of being stuck with another one for 10 weeks. For the first few weeks she watches Helen shout and scream and bully Jale, Danielle, Matthew, Chris, Christopher etc and get multiple warnings and you wonder why she stayed in the backgroud? We hardly seen Chris or Christopher either for the first few weeks.

You seem to have expected a teenager to have marched up to a loud mouthed vile bully and tackled her! After the behaviour she seen from her with others who crossed her? So what does she do - she bitches about her with her friend - completely normal for a teenager.
So during girl power she uses her intelligence to weaken the untouchable Helen's position. She tries to get Helen's bestie, Ash, up for nomination and she is happy and excited when it works. This is the Ash who laughs at Helen's name calling and eggs her on, remember. All you can say is she was being spiteful and horrible as if Helen and Ash were the 2 loveliest people in there....

She's had storylines that showed how resilient and courageous she is when BB set her up - first when they gave Kim and Helen ammunition to slate her from the morgue - second they showed the video to Helen, Kim and Jale - third she got immunity from the public and BB unexpectedly gave others the power to take it away from her. Throughout all this, she kept her cool and her dignity and took it on the chin.
As she has done when nominated - unlike Ash and Steven who moaned and whined said they didn't deserve to be up!
She conducted herself maturely and well the week she had the power.

Also remember that Chris adores her, said she was amazing and wants to spend time with her. He said last night that he couldn't wait to meet her boyfriend because 'he is a part of Ashleigh that he doesn't know'. Chris is astute and intelligent. Do you really think he would want to spend so much time around a boring, uninteresting young girl all the time even if he did fancy her (which I think is rubbish, by the way).
If you have watched the video's you would see more of Ashleigh having fun and doing other things, which is the same for all the other HM's. The editing of the HL shows have been terrible this year.

So all in all, I really can't see why you write such venom about Ashleigh while finding excuses for Helen. But each to their own.

Ashleigh bullied at school, BS my dear. Its a story that's been invented to provide her with reasons for acting like a twat and a bitch. Please post proof of this ridiculous claim.
