Well with respect Ashleigh had no storylines for close on the first 3 weeks of the series, all we saw was a miserable, reclusive housemate who did and said absolutely nothing of note at all.
Also all Ashleigh could do in the main, when they were in the morgue, was talk about Helen while she was out of the house.
The girl was obsessed with Helen for goodness sake,it was like she was on a mission.
She actually only got a higher profile when she started the 2 faced backstabbing of Helen and Ash and still, that is the only thing she can be highlighted for.
I cannot think of one other thing Ashleigh has done or said that brings her to the forefront of this series, other than her Helen storyline and trying to get Ash evicted to get at Helen.
A lot of spiteful acts with one spiteful aim, does not make for a good housemate in my view and certainly not a winning one either.
She has in fact had only one triumph so far in the house, that was to ensure Ash was not saved,or considered to be saved in the all female power week, a week she herself could have likely gone had she been eligible to be up since then she was well and truly booed too.
She was however, probably saved then herself by BB making her immune that week too.
Something you regularly and surprisingly overlook, she has had 2 'free' immune weeks too,to help her go further in the series.

What you surprisingly overlook is that Ashleigh was badly bullied at school! Then she goes into BB and finds herself in a position of being stuck with another one for 10 weeks. For the first few weeks she watches Helen shout and scream and bully Jale, Danielle, Matthew, Chris, Christopher etc and get multiple warnings and you wonder why she stayed in the backgroud? We hardly seen Chris or Christopher either for the first few weeks.
You seem to have expected a teenager to have marched up to a loud mouthed vile bully and tackled her! After the behaviour she seen from her with others who crossed her? So what does she do - she bitches about her with her friend - completely normal for a teenager.
So during girl power she uses her intelligence to weaken the untouchable Helen's position. She tries to get Helen's bestie, Ash, up for nomination and she is happy and excited when it works. This is the Ash who laughs at Helen's name calling and eggs her on, remember. All you can say is she was being spiteful and horrible as if Helen and Ash were the 2 loveliest people in there....
She's had storylines that showed how resilient and courageous she is when BB set her up - first when they gave Kim and Helen ammunition to slate her from the morgue - second they showed the video to Helen, Kim and Jale - third she got immunity from the public and BB unexpectedly gave others the power to take it away from her. Throughout all this, she kept her cool and her dignity and took it on the chin.
As she has done when nominated - unlike Ash and Steven who moaned and whined said they didn't deserve to be up!
She conducted herself maturely and well the week she had the power.
Also remember that Chris adores her, said she was amazing and wants to spend time with her. He said last night that he couldn't wait to meet her boyfriend because 'he is a part of Ashleigh that he doesn't know'. Chris is astute and intelligent. Do you really think he would want to spend so much time around a boring, uninteresting young girl all the time even if he did fancy her (which I think is rubbish, by the way).
If you have watched the video's you would see more of Ashleigh having fun and doing other things, which is the same for all the other HM's. The editing of the HL shows have been terrible this year.
So all in all, I really can't see why you write such venom about Ashleigh while finding excuses for Helen. But each to their own.
