Shaun 22-08-2014 06:17 PM

yeah I thought this would happen...

I don't really know what to do any more since everything gets pounced upon for being wrong anyway

Please don't take this the wrong way, but it does kinda seem that you only want 5 winners because you are one of those 5 :/

Josy, Gyspy and Ammi were so far ahead of everyone else, going into the 20's region, so I don't see why anyone other than those 3 should win.

There was a fixed amount of winners, this was 2, and if there was a tie for 2nd then all those with a tie. Then it got changed to anyone with 20+, which is far enough, I guess.

Shaun 22-08-2014 06:22 PM

OK

Ammi 22-08-2014 06:27 PM

..I was the one that felt there should be more winners, not Shaun...and I think there should be because you can't really just recognise one person or two etc in something like this...to me that would be the most unfair thing..and we've had 3 and 4 winners before because that's the right and fair thing to do and there will really only be 4 winners again this time so it's following how it's been, it's just that there is a joint forth place so that will make it 5...

..it wasn't two Hayden, it was two or more..it was always that and there have often been more than two..

Yes, I understand what you mean Ammi, but like someone said, where is the line drawn at? Because I was only one point behind Shaun, and some people were only 1 or 2 points behind me etc.

Thanks for 0 nominations or 0 votes over this competition:fist:

Personally I think 3 is enough,as in most competitions. A gold place, a silver and a bronze.
However it is not my game,I look at the rules if I can accept them I take part if I cannot I decide not to.

However it is Shaun's event,he makes the rules and although I at times have disagreed with some of those rules, I support his right to make them and organise this event as he wishes.
I can see that another 2 as a top 5, gives Erin an award too,so it is not just Shaun who gets one again.

Frankly anyone who organises events on here deserves a special award just for doing it, in my opinion.
I would never do one, I couldn't take the endless hassle.
So Shaun would get one from me anyway.

..my thoughts as well Hayden were that I don't recall Shaun ever winning an award in this although he always does do well but always seems to just be 1 point or so away..?..and yet he gives up his time to run it every season...also I think it was the same for Erin last year and she was only a point or two behind and she kind of always posts vids/news etc very quickly and gets discussions going in the BB forum so I felt that it was a shame if she was just one point out as well this season....

It's still a competition, even 3 winners seems a bit much imo it should just be the person who got the most.

Hmm... yess I understand what you are saying. But then again it was Shaun's decision to run the game, no one forced him to, and he knew that there was a possibility of him not winning, so unless there was a rule that hosts are given awards for every game they run, then I don't think he should be given an award for this since he didn't win... does that make sense or am I talking nonsense? :p

..it's not a thing about 'most' though Jordan ..it's not something where only one member should be set apart from others because that would be really unfair to do that..yeah, I know that all the nominations are deserving and there has to be 'a line' but the line has been at three and four before so this would just be the same as it's always been which seems like the fairest thing...

..no it's not nonsense Hayden but Shaun isn't asking for an award to run it, it was my thoughts that he and Erin should also be winners in this...and that's for lots of reasons and contributions they give TiBB...

Jordan. 22-08-2014 06:47 PM

I don't see how it's unfair, in that case ML is unfair too

the line has never been 4, it's ALWAYS been either ONE or TWO, there just happened to be 3 last time due to a tie, and 4 the time before due to a tie, if anything this competition is being generous by giving 3rd place [who didn't tie] an award fourth place and fifth place have never recieved an award before and it didn't say they would in the rules? I don't see why the rules should change after the competition has ended, would everyone be saying this if there was a different 4th/5th place...
oop

Shaun 22-08-2014 06:50 PM

Oh, would you look at that

Josy 22-08-2014 06:51 PM

I don't see a problem with 5 especially with how many members there are during on season and some, Shaun and Erin being 2 of them contribute A LOT.

I gave Shaun the award tbh because it's deserved. He runs this every year as well as numerous other things on TiBB added to his contributions with posting and stuff too.

Well done Ammi, Claudia, Shaun and Erin  all great contributors to the forum.

Jordan. 22-08-2014 06:52 PM

5 winners everytime then & hopefully no moaning from admin about how too many awards get given out :clap1:

Headie 22-08-2014 06:52 PM

Well done Shaun :)

Does this mean all the other 4th and 5th places from previous years get awards too? :amazed:

GypsyGoth 22-08-2014 06:52 PM

Congratz Erin & Shaun

Well deserved :worship:
