You're right, though, it probably will end the panic because people are suckers for a placebo. Would be much cheaper just to hand out sugar pills in a bottle labelled "EbolaShield!!" or something, though.

Never mind about all the cancer. We'll probably have a cancer vaccine by the time the effects of an improperly tested vaccine start to appear. And anyway, it'll have been so long since the vaccine was administered that no one will be able to prove causation anyway amirite?
