I let people have opinions, apart from when they try to defend racism

I don't think he is racist....he never used those words directly at anyone in a malicious way. When he said it to Alexander he went into a 'role play' mode. When he quoted his phone convo to Keith, he was referring to black music.
He isn't malicious...but he is a silly ignorant man and from a generation that were more familiar with such terms and words that are no longer acceptable in our society today...thank goodness.

Role play as some sort of slave owner or something, how is that not racist?

The word wasn't said about Frank Bruno, it was said about the type of music that was playing and it wasn't the N word as everyone keeps pointing out, it was the original accepted word that white extremists took and bastardized.

Its used all the time within American black communities and its only offensive to white people. It was used to describe music...wtf???

I have met and spoken to many older people in my time, thousands, not once have I ever heard any of them use that word to describe black people. Ken was
fully aware he would cause controversy by using that term and I am pretty sure that is what he set out to do we live in an age where trying to be controversial is becoming so cliche.

Be realistic, if you were to go into a shop and happen to be served by a black shop keeper and then asked " Hi negro sir can I have 20 B&H you seriously saying your going to get a 50/50 reaction? Think you need to apply more reality to this situation. That word is offensive.

Lee. 13-01-2015 01:15 PM

Not forgetting that he prefixed "Negro" with "big, fat"

Of course he meant what he was saying!

And that attempt at sounding like a Southern American, we all knew what he was trying to do, there really is no denying it.

Respect, is what it's all about mate. Or a lack of it, in Ken's case.

And from my experience they use it in jest. Certainly not during serious conversation.
