I agree, it's all a bit double standards too, the furore around her twwet about kelly for instance... she had surgery abroad, it carries risks it was her choice to have it at her age too. Where is the sympathy for katie Ps post surgery issues?
There was on here mocking of Katie Ps ex Alex too, why is it ok to mock his face but not kellys?
I also agree KH is a lot like jeremy kyle in her opinions but he doesn't get as much of a backlash.

And making horrid comments like that is doing something bad as far as I'm concerned. Words can be harmful.

Fair enough, guess we will disagree then.

Making jokes about the Glasgow helicopter crash? Seems pretty cruel to me.

Casually calling for more bombing of Palestine without even acknowledging the innocents caught up in these conflicts? Again, not at all rational and very cruel.

Stereotyping people of certain names / the overweight / the unemployed as all sharing the same, negative traits? No rationality here and no actual logic but a prime example of a tiny, nasty mind.

NONE of which happened in the house.

NONE of it matters in the show, so why judge her on this.

You all advocate not judging people on there outside persona/reputation.

Many of you INSIST that its nothing to do with why you don't like her. Then you deliver this.

Um, you asked me to provide examples of her comments that were nasty, small-minded and irrational. I did that. You asked me to bring them up, you can't have a go now I have. :laugh2:

And I never claimed to not judge her on her pre-BB behaviour, I'm very open about that. I also think she's a nasty bitch in the house too, though.

And as far as I'm concerned, it absolutely matters. For starters, she's in there because of the comments, so they must be relevant. Secondly, it all adds to the sort of person she is. You don't magically become someone else when you walk through the BB doors.

Thank you Demo, but I think you're in a minority on here. The feeling's mutual anyway - genuinely - even if we don't always agree. :hehe: I do write and have sold a few shorts and articles, and I'm 1/3rd of the way through a novel I'm writing, but it should have been completed by now (getting distracted too much). Take care. :wavey:

If it is the one I am thinking of, I havent read all the posts yet, there was a discussion in the kitchen and I think they were talking about Kav. Katie walked out because she didnt like what she thought was being said, Keith followed her and demanded to know what was wrong with her....it went on from there. Possibly he should have just let her have her quiet moment. Maybe we will see more tonight. As she said she was sticking up for Kav and fed up with him being decried?

I have no doubt it all stemmed from last nights episode. :wavey:

No not that one Elliebrew.

So here we have people actually defending something when they haven't watched the clip LOL which funnily enough is EXACTLY what KH is guilty of in it :laugh3:

The bit I saw she didnt attack Keith personally, she walked out of the room, did I miss something? (serious question).

Do others when they call her these names, realise that they are emulating the very same things which they castigate her for.

She has said harsh things about societies benefits scroungers and no one can say it isn't true because it has been proved there are many lazy and fraudulent people who are.

I don't agree with her on the children's names or peoples hair colourings and wish she wouldn't write things like this. She deserves criticism and by goodness she certainly gets it in spades.

I have heard her being nice, but I have also heard her say she doesn't like compliments back. There must have been something in her past which has formed her opinions like this. Overall in the house, she hasn't been nasty to many, just Perez. I feel Nadia has been nastier towards Katie than the other way around.

Yes, she does talk about others but they all do. It was quite obvious when Nadia after calling Katie two faced and talking behind peoples backs, went on to do exactly the same with Perez.

Katie has been the salvation of the house because we would just have the Perez Show all the time. She has fought her corner well, giving Perez little rope and shoving it back in his face when he goes over the top.

Have you thought, Perez may just be the start, there are many copy cat BB housemates chosen and he just might have started a trend of being aggravating and annoying for the future.

For the first time ever I have read KH's piece in the paper, I have to say that I am very impressed with it. She doesnt exactly praise herself and there is a sense of humour in it all.

She has empathy for KP and had a shower with her to wash her hair and to help her because KP cannot hold her left arm up.

She mentioned Michelles certainty that she is going to win, she spoke of the difference between the Brits and the Americans, the Americans having a more positive attitude than the Brits. There is a lovely picture of Michelle on the same page.

The D.Star is full of the fact that if Perez goes tonight he will be questioned by the police. There is a description of what exactly he did, wow and they put Ken and Jeremy out. They really ought to wind the clock back and get their facts right. They confirm that KH has not as yet made an accusation.

I think I may buy the Sun again just to read her columns, they are well put and well thought out with sense, honesty and humour.

Fortunately there aren't many people who use what's called the "harm principle" when talking to or about a person or we would be seeing public lynching on a mass scale.

We are still at the door of what is the right moral? Do we speak the truth or do we patronise. We all have our own thoughts KH is in the limelight of newspapres columns and earning a living.

I am sure that if she was faced with someone of ginger hair or someone who is rather plump she would look at their morals and their capacity to meld. Who was that lovely chap who was on BOTS the other day, cant think of his
name for a moment, he is plump and he idolises her says she is a lot of fun.

At the end of the day I would rather look at someone in the house and judge them by their actions than take in all the rubbish they have accumulated in their life outside. I know we all do it at times, I have been guilty of the same thing but we really ought to give them the benefit of the doubt and thank them for entertaining us. As we know it is a game show and that is what they are in there for.

She's no different to the people that leave long winded ‘troll’ comments at the bottom of Daily Mail articles. Lots of people troll on the internet, what makes her different to them apart from her making money at it ?

Thanks for the correction. What I should of said is, I hope all those damaged, often intellectually challenged and sometimes mentally ill people make him feel good about himself.

As she said she isnt in there to make friends and thinks she will win it. She is just made that way to only see things from her point of view and god help anyone who disagrees. She probably believes she is not too faced even though we (her British public:omg::yuk:) can clearly see she is.

She's in it to win it, that's why she always sucks up to the public. Perez is the opposite. He's already rich, so does not care and does not need the money. :spin:

He said her media persona is an act. She has a family to feed. Controversy sells and attracts attention, Which proves by this. hread.:hehe:
