Shilpa has been around in bollywood for many years now. And ive been her fan since quite a few years. As far as i remember ive never heard her talk like the way she did last night. She did sound a bit up herself.
I may be wrong but i think she's been asked to act like that. So that people here think a she's really big in bollywood. Davina called her 'Queen of Bollywood' yesterday. And that isnt true!

Yeah this is all what we are slowing learning she is being made out to be a huge star in Bollywood but she isnt even the main lady over there. Sure she is talented but she isn't THE huge star of bollywood she is one of many. I am glad I am not the only one who thinks she sounds a bit up herself but that could be down to the editing as we have seen many times on big brother.

Champagne, I agree with you. No one here is suggesting Shilpa is THE main lady of Bollywood. There are alot more succesful actresses than her, but those are only commercial actresses, Shilpa started off there but has slowly moved to critical and art movies.
However, the up herself bit, thats something cleverly being edited out by BB and we all know how clever the BB people are when they want to make somone look vain, bitchy, friendly etc And i'm sure they also told Shilpa to up her status, because she has never bigged herself up prior to this.
And Davina should not have called her the "Queen of Bollywood", that was their mistake, however she is "The Body" of Bollywood :thumbs2:

Shilpa and Jo were two starlets divided by a common language this afternoon, as the pair tried to work establish the correct way to pronounce Dirk's name.


We suggest 'Dirk' to rhyme with 'work', but hey...

"What are they laughing at?" Jo asked Shilpa as they listened to Dirk and Carol in the kitchen.


"They're saying I pronounce Dirk's name as duck," giggled Shilpa. "Dirk? Duck? Deuck?" she said.

"Dirk?" repeated Jo.

"Duck?" said Shilpa as the two fell about.

"It sounds like you call him Duck," laughed Jo.

"Duck Benedict. It sounds like a dish," chuckled Shilpa. "I don't call him Duck, I call him Deuck."

"Duck?" repeated Jo again.

"Jermaine," called Shilpa, corralling the Jackson into the fray. "How do you say 'Dirk'?"

"Dirk," he replied.

"See, he says it the same way."

"You say Duck?" asked Jo.

"Dirk? Duck?" repeated Jermaine sounding out the options, before drawling: "Oh, Dirrrrk."

Hearing his name, Dirk's ears pricked up and he looked at the women quizzically.

"We're doing name pronunciations. Dirk," explained Shilpa, before her and Jo repeated his name, one Mumbai, one Romford.

"I like yours better," chose Dirk. "I like accents."

"But how do you say it?" said Shilpa.

"It's got a hard R," confirmed Dirk. Wonder if he rolls his Rs too...

Spunky, are you a fan then? Shilpa is damn gorgeous but also intelligent. She has provided much light jokes too. I liked it when she asked Ken "can I call you uncle" LMAO I'm sure thats something none of us expected to hear. I also liked the whole scene between her and Jo, trying to get Dirks name correct. So I watched CBB from 8:30am till 11. It was quite good. H gave Shilpa a kiss on the cheek. They were making breakfast together and he said something then gave her a kiss.
And so I watching to see the whole hair touching thing Shilpa does, I think its a habit.

Shilpa seems really at ease now in the house.


Today she was cooking chicken for everyone, and near the kitchen the boys were sitting, and they were all saying stuff about Shilpa. I think Leo started it off by saying she has a lovely figure and that she was stunning and he said some stuff like, she should be in a Bond movie, somoneones got to snap you up. Then Dirk said she'll make a really good girlfriend :puzzled:.
When Shilpa and H were making breakfast H gave her a kiss on the cheek, which I thought was sweet. Then later when they boys were all talking about her, H asked what the thing she wears around her belly was and the diamonte. Then they all talked about her figure and H said she needs to put on abit of weight.

I have to say on Day 1 Shilpa wasn't all out there. Day 2 she was ok. Day 3 I felt she reverted back to being quite. Day 4, this is the best i've seen her.
She was talking to the boys. Sat and spoke with the girls, even Cleo, which I hadn't seen before.

HI, every one I would like to join this group. I don't normally watch BB, or even CBB, however when I seen a pic of Shilpa in the daily star, I knew I just had to watch it. This women is stunning (IMO) I think that she may even be the best looking contestant. Her body is perfect, its slender yet she has curves. And her legs go on forever. As you can tell I like her a lot, although I know that most people will think that my opinion is only based on her physical looks, and to those people I would like to say “ and wot”
I don't think she will win cus, mostly I know girls will be hating on her, they think that she's arrogant, I don't think she is its just confidence, however even if she is she has every right to be!!!!
