Straight people can be called 'breeders' and white people can be called 'honkies' or 'Milkybars' but heterophobia or white racism does'nt exist so its all ok.

I've never actually heard of heterophobia before, but if it does exist then it's just as bad as homophobia and that's a fact. |

He's hardly evil, just a bit of a twat.

If he thinks Aaron is sketchy, then his opinion is not baseless, he's the one who spent a couple of hours with him, so if he thinks he's sketchy, then he's entitled to think so without being labelled as some sort of homophobic monster straight away... Imo ofc.

To elaborate on my earlier reply on why I think Danny might just see Aaron as a threat, is because Danny seems to be trying to form stereotypical "lad" bonds with Christian - chattin about the the 'birds' and which ones might be easy to get with etc. He has football to chat about with Jack, and he might not see the the 19 year olds as threats as perhaps he believes they would be easy to get to tag along with the 'lad' chat etc because they're younger.
Not necessarily anything wrong with being very blokey or more used to having a male posse of friends, however it is a competition and perhaps Danny was hoping to form a very close-knit loyal male posse for strategic purposes. From the little we've seen, Aaron didn't seem to be having much chats with him and Christian, and was having more fun in the garden surrounded by some of the female housemates and the two younger male housemates, he also seemed well liked by most, even Christian seemed very hesitant to say anything bad about Aaron even when Danny kept suggesting minor negative things about Aaron. Christian seemed to mostly say "he's a cool guy", "it's too early to tell, I want to chat more/get to know him" Maybe he feels that Aaron would not be easy to manipulate or to join part of a possible 'lads' loyal (but strategic) group of friends, as he seems to get along just as equally well with the females and do his own thing and seems liked by majority of the housemates so far. Just a possibility of course. |

This is not an example of hetrophobia, just an example of the unneeded hate gay people still go through. Not going as far to say Danny's homophobic but he certainly seemed uncomfortable in Aaron's presence on the live feed.
|
Why is this being treated as a gay thing? he just said he finds him sketchy, we all do the same in life - we meet people and sometimes they just don't click with you or you get bad vibes.
Nothing said by Danny has been homophobic nor derogatory towards Aaron so I literally can't even fathom the reaching going on calling this homophobia. |
Out of all the male housemates, so far the only ones I am liking is Joel, Jack and Nick. The others seem to full of themselves, although it's early days yet.

maybe he sees aaron as his competition, and planting seeds in people's mind.

Because Aaron is gay that's the only possible reason anybody can possibly have to dislike him.I'd wait until he actually does or says something before branding him homophobic.Last time i checked "sketchy" was'nt a homophobic slur unless it's recently been added to the big book of things you can't say to a gay.Crazy. |

Danny is not my cup of tea btw, I made a pretty snap decision that I didn't like him. |
The double standards on this site is too much

Very possible. |
Interesting that he's not being accused of being jealous of Aaron though like Jade is of Sarah
