i do kind of think he should mention, so people know who the real him is.
On the other hand, i don't want him to come across as a sob story user because even though he hasn't already mentioned it in BB or in his VT people on here and on DS that already hate him will find a way too get on his back about it.

Its not coming across that it is putting him at a disadvantage in his interactions with other house mates. If he mentions it (like the Danny wedding) it comes across badly in my opinion. The voting public will have far more respect for him if he keeps quiet.

With Sam, there was an obvious hearing disability, but again, he didn't use it for sympathy, he just got on with it.

Every housemate has their haters and for all we know they could have gone through just as bad things, Helen could have had the worst childhood ever but people are still gonna hate. Just saying.

Props to him for not bringing it up for sympathy but everyone in the house has their own story.

IF he keeps his past to himself the entire series I will have respect for him,but its early days, he's already dripped it in the diary room, and no doubt first time he's up the rest will be used

I disagree with your point about Sam. Sam played the deaf card way too much. Especially on live feed, when he was talking to Gina about how he wanted to be a Pete Bennett, towards deaf people, like how Pete is to people with Tourettes, and that he wanted the public to like him, etc.

He also played up with the fact he couldn't hear Emma on eviction nights on the tannoy, and things like that. Always feeling sorry for himself.

I for one didn't buy it, because he clearly heard his name being called out and the boos he got, but he pretended to hide it.

Some housemates would try and use this to make the public feel sorry for a them. Glad he's not used it and gone in there and been himself I'm really warming to him these past couple of days I just hope he steers clear from Danny because when he's with him he's an idiot.

GypsyGoth 17-05-2015 01:04 PM

It's not that much of a sob story, it wouldn't even qualify him for the paralympics.

QueenCharley 17-05-2015 01:12 PM

Fair enough he's had it tough but who knows what the others have gone through too?

A lot of people have had battles with their demons or a string of unfortunate events, it'll unfold in the weeks to come.

In saying that, hope Cristian gets to share a bit about this, it might show a better side to him.

Sad thing is he will be nominated aswell.

I know I'm an old cynic, BUT when he came out of the diary room, he immediately took off his sunglasses and there were no sign of tears.
If his bio is accurate, then good on him for overcoming adversity when he was young, but that cocky front of his has to disappear if he's to stand any chance of winning the public over.

You do realise that big brother is edited.
So for all we know he could of stayed in the diary room for like an hour for his tears to dry lol.

Credit to him. He has had a tough life by the sound of it.

Yes indeed credit to him. Hes one that I dont feel very strongly about one or the other at the moment, so I wouldnt mind if he stayed for a while to see how he settles down.

I think he's lovely. He's so laid back he's starting to remind me of Chicken Stu.

Massive kudos on not using it as a sob story.

In that case he would have removed his sunglasses before he left the diary room. After all BB did ask him to remove them.
