Being a snob is not necessarily a bad thing, it is more about upbringing. Shilpa was unsure how she would be received here, and acted in her interview, as if she expected a positive reaction and an indifferent reaction would make her uncomfortable. That is snobbish. 'I am doing it for all Indians'. I find this coy and snobbish and unecessary. I would never go on a show and say 'I am doing it for my race'. Totally snobbish. Also to tell Jackie 'I never argue'. That is also snobbish.
Snobbery is also not necessarily in facts, but behaviour and she carries herself with this upper class snobbery.
And all this, I do not actually dislike her. I think that is just the way she is.
