I agree - it's getting beyond a joke. I think Jade and Danielle are treating Shilpa terribly, but they are not being racist.

I dont know if it is considered "racism" but it's definitely bullying with offensive comments being made. I hate it. It's getting hard to watch. I think the 3 involved should be given warnings or even chucked out. It's just going to get worse.

It is not racism and it never has been. All it is is ignorance, arrogance and jealousy. They are each bitches - very rude, and as I've said ignorant to other peoples cultures.

That doesn't make them RACIST. People need to understand this word. You have to actively hate a specific race, and they haven't shown any of these traits.

I like Shilpa, she can be annoying but she is genuine. I hate/despise/loathe Jade Goody, Danielle and Jo for what they are doing, because lets face - its appalling. But no matter how appalling, it isn't racism.

Looking at the 3 bitchers, i'm sure to be white is the last thing on Shilpas' mind. None of them pose to have manners, respect, morals and self respect at that too.

I don't think you will be able to drum into some people that it's not racism unfortunately, some Shilpa fans not all just want to believe it so badly that they keep going on and on about it to get everyone feeling sorry for her, don't get me wrong it's not nice how Jade and Danielle are treating her but IMO it's certainly not racism.

Racism and bullying should not be tolrated anywhere in the world let alone on BB. This is not just about the pesonal diffrences of the housmates but about the way they choose to bully and victimise Shilpa alone:

I personally don't think it's racism really, and have never said it was. IMO the people picking on Shilpa just don't understand her, her culture or the way she's been brought up. But the fact is they don't even seem to WANT to understand, or know - so they're ignorant and pick on her instead. The fact that Shilpa's Indian is just an additional factor so they can do things like make fun of her accent as well (which of course I'm not condoning, since it's so ignorant and childish). Frankly, the closed-minded people (well, some of them anyway) simply have weak and bitchy personalities, and don't know how to deal with Shilpa's respectable personality.

Sorry but 10, 000 complaints is over the top and considering you get some idiots going to D/S and Channel 4 boards saying "Keep emailing OFFCOM!"

I bet the real number of complaints is about 2, 000, especially with people able to have more than one email address.
