Then pick up the phone and vote for men if it bothers you so much, the fact of that matter is, in a VTE, the bores (the men, take Danny, Cristian, Ash, Pav, and Winston, who are the most recent bores) survive because big characters (which are mostly female, you can't deny that) stir up a lot of controversy which consequently makes people want to evict them. No one is going to pick up the phone and spend 50p to evict someone based on the sole fact that they're a woman ffs
If it was flipped around and it was that all the first evictees were male, I highly doubt you'd be claiming it's sexist - because it's not. The only thing that's sexist is you.

My issue is that you're claiming to have an issue with the apparent sexism in the voting, yet your response is ... more sexism. Are you really in a position to be angered by something that you yourself wish to be a part of (just towards the different sex)?

There's probably a maximum of three men that'll vote a woman out because she has a vagina and like maybe 3 women voting out a woman because they're jealous (???) and one of you voting out a man because he has a penis.

It's a matter of opinion but I really don't see how it's equal. You could make a list of ten big female characters from the past three years alone (Helen, Toya, Ashleigh, Jade, Pauline, Sarah, Harriet, Harry Amelia, Gina, Hazel and more), while the only big male characters in C5 have been Marc, Dexter, Aaron (BB12) and Conor. Marc was evicted in a VTE at the first possible chance and Conor and Aaron avoided eviction because it was a VTS and people vote for the big characters to save

It isn't a coincidence, you're right, because there have been numerous occasions it's been women only up for the first eviction, and the rest of the time the first evictees were terrible. Of course, some were robbed (Adjoa </3) and I'd rather a boring man had gone instead (my hatred for Jack grew when he saved Cristian from the first eviction) but a lot of the first evictees were terrible and looking back it's no surprise they were evicted

There does seem to be a trend of women going first, even when they're big characters and most of the men are boring yet stay for a long time (eg. last 2 years of bb), whether it has something to do with the viewers being sexist I don't know.

There's also an imbalance with shirtlessness criticism I've noticed too, woman gets her boobs out and its "slag!!!!! this girl is a slut! vote her out", yet the guys do it throughout each episode and nobody really says a thing.

Tbf in the last Civilian series though the Housemates that was up was three girls, the public couldn't magically vote out a man when they're not even an option.:laugh:

We've named 5 series out of 16 Civilian series that have been made though.

There was still 11 series for the public to not vote out a woman first and they still did it anyway, they even saved Conor in BB13.:omgno:

As I've said numerous times - the numbers are too big. I am CONVINCED it is down to sexism.

No, because it's not sexist, and the fact a woman has been out first every time is not sexist either.

If you want to vote out a big male character (good luck finding one because nearly all of the men have been bores) and save a boring woman instead (who will contribute nothing) just because they're a man, then go ahead, but don't go preaching about how a show is sexist if you're going to be sexist.
