..yeah my mother in law has always had bowls of them everywhere, like potpourri in every room for as long as I've known her and obviously before the boys came along...and then she's sitting there saying...oh, don't be afraid of spiders, there's nothing to worry about and they can't hurt you etc...well yeah, grandmother, that makes sense as you've pretty much built an inner fortress here for something so harmless.../I told her that as well, that she was a complete looney of conflicting 'advice'...

I used to have a thing about spiders until I watched 'Charlottes web' as a child.
I try not to kill anything really however.

I killed a cat yesterday, stupid thing ran out onto the road :(

My wife tried the conker business and after 3 months they had withered and she wanted me to remove them, but I couldn't get near them for all the spiders laid around them and on them. :hehe:
