Well the series died after it happened so... It gave us Harry Amelia but we lost the twins and Harriet, and it gave us Marc, who made the show all about him and ruined the series beyond no return

It really wasn't a good twist - a mass eviction and new housemates is just a basic idea. Plus it lost Harriet, twins and Sarah.
|
Also, it was really annoying that it happened in Week 2. It pretty much meant the first two weeks were a waste of time, getting to know them and the booting out like 1/3 of them only to replace them. I found it really unfair as well as none of them were even up in the first place. Like Harriet having no nominations at all and then you had people like Jade (although I'm glad it saved her) and Cristian who had like 9 and yet she lost her place in the house.
It was just wrong. |

It was just a mess of a series. |
It wasn't exactly a great twist but it did get rid of Harriet, Sarah and Kieran who I think would've coasted to later stages in the series. I do think it is panned too much because it wasn't actually that bad I don't think.
I think the Sam being evicted twist which was random and we weren't even told about was much worse |
No it was terrible.
|
I was excited for it when it was announced, but afterwards I hated it. I really enjoyed first couple of weeks and the series just annoyed me from that point onwards.
I wish it didn't happen but Sam and Marc still entered as latecomers. |
One of the worst twists of all time.
|
I don't think it harmed the series, the series was destroyed with too many so called legends going in and more especially for far too long.
I wouldn't like to see 4 in 4 out again but I was glad this twist gave us Marc this year, he woke it all up for me, long before the legends were delivered. |
I really don't understand the Marc love at all. He's actually one of the most overrated housemates in the history of the show. I don't get why he's branded as a brilliant housemate. Each to their own, I guess.
|
It got rid of Sarah and Harriet, so it wasn't that bad. It would have been even better if Danny had gone too.

Marc was okay at first and in mediocre doses. After the legends came in, he became unbearable.
|
I liked it because the four that went, with the slight exception of Sarah, were really boring and didn't do that much.
The three new contestants were very entertaining. Plus Simon came back and he was able to stay for quite a while, which was nice because we never got to see him and people kept judging him over his VT and he wasn't even like that. |
Hated it it was all so natural till then it then nosedived and got so contrived :(
