I don't think it's necessarily 'offensive' to assume that he is gay/lying about being bisexual when he's a person who is famous and is now talking about his sexuality. I would totally agree is someone on here or a real life friend came out and then people were like LOL YEAH RIGHT, U R A FAG REALLY!!!! But with famous people and the media and hollywood etc, it's different.

It's like Tom Daley. He has sooo many girls who love him because he's cute/good looking/talented. He came out as bi to soften the blow with his lady fans (because you get those crazy girls who legit think they can marry these famous people) and then when it calmed down again, he came out as gay. I think it's more of a 'safety-step' to make sure his fans would be okay with it and check out the reaction in general.

I think that with George, this probably means he has a boyfriend right now, but still wants to do well in the music business (which is still rather homophobic... how many celebs have come out and then gone back in?) Whats this about these nude leaks? Was he spotted with a guy or something? If so, this probably means he wasn't supposed to come out any time soon, sadly and had to say something before it got a lot worse.

I don't know how famous he is in the states or whatever, but you even get music companies who make you sign contracts where you can't say/do anything controversial and sometimes that includes coming out.

Most of the people who have said something about him 'obviously' being gay are infact queers themselves (I use the term queer as someone who isn't straight...) and I are better at noticing these things than a lot of straight people. I've said he was gay since he was on the x factor, just like I did with Tom Daley and Jessie J etc...

Sorry about this, but this is something I am really passionate about (fags and dykes in Htown) and I don't think a lot of people understand how complicated it is. And whilst I understand what it's like in Htown, I also wish that celebs would be brave and just get themselves out of the closet. It's 2016 and whilst we've never been so open-minded, we also have so much further to go... (I'm blaming you closeted footballers!!!!!!!!!)

Probably some media may have been threatening to publish as they did with Steven Gately.
So he has just set the record straight himself.

This is all Dan Wootton's fault

If he says he's not bisexual then he isn't. Sexuality doesn't need to be defined so easily. Only the person experiencing it can understand fully.

It is indeed,it makes me sick, I think they were going to do it with Kieron Richardson and Tom Daley too.
Under the guise of its 'news'.

What's worse is that the journalists involved are mainly gay... It's terrible

Firewire 03-02-2016 05:46 PM

Also "I've always known" is a completely ridiculous concept. He didn't even know, he still doesn't. How can you say that? You guessed, maybe, but you didn't know.

This applies to real life, too. It's completely ****ing stupid.

Smithy 03-02-2016 05:50 PM

Ok blah blah blah all this he's not gay respect his views crap, yeah ok I respect he is what he is, but you can bet you're ass he'll never have a girlfriend ever again, bookmark me :idc:

Shaun 03-02-2016 08:34 PM

The stuff with Wootton and the reactions of some are probably why more don't come out. In a way it's almost easier to come out as gay than bi/undecided/pan/whatever else you've got because the latter just seems to open yourself to all sorts of idiotic "YEAH RIGHT!!!! HE'S GAY!!!!!" responses.
