well it's gonna be difficult for me to choose my acts, so many different genres of music :)

Nicky91 03-04-2016 01:47 PM

we'll do the 6 seat challenge like this, okay :)

first the overs will be chosen by me, which 6 will get to Judges Houses, Jake and Mock and Kirk&Will may give some advice who to take to the judges houses

up next Jake's Groups, i'll be giving my advice for Jake who i like, but Mock and Kirk&Will can also give their advice

up next Mock's Girls, we'll be giving him advice about choosing the 6 girls, of course it's only advice :)

and finally Kirk&Will get to choose their 6 boys for judges houses, also some advice from the other mentors :)

Mystic Mock 03-04-2016 11:16 PM

I'm interested to see how the duo mentoring will work in the sense of will they pick out good song choices or not?

Well as I think that I'm gonna try this out, I suggest going for a diverse set of acts in your top 6 maybe.

I say that but it will be difficult when people are gonna be throwing names around about who to keep and who not to keep in the competition.:joker:

Thanks Nicky91.

Here's my evaluation of your top 12.

Terry McDermott - A very strong singer and performer, and can go between Rock and Country as genres to sing so he also shows a bit of versatility.

Tony Munnings - A decent Country singer that can play an Instrument which I always give credit too.

Haifa Kayali - Has a really lovely voice, probably one of the best in the competition in terms of pure vocal.

Terry Winstanley - A decent vocalist, not necessarily in my genres, but I can appreciate that he can sing.

Danielle Blakey - She's probably got the most unique sound out of your category Nicky91, I'll be interested to see what she can do.

Pamela Cook - Song choices will be vital for Pamela more so than anybody else in your category Nicky I feel.

Fleur East - A decent dancer, and she can Rap if she has too.

Damien Leith - He has a really good range, and can play an Instrument.

Icaro Taborda - He seems like a lot of fun, he'd be needed I suspect on a more dreary night of performances to liven things up a little.

Helen Fulthorpe - Just not my kind of singer I'm afraid.

Brad Shackleton - The pure Rocker in this lineup, it will be interesting to see how he'd cope with the themes, if he can I fancy his chances at winning the whole thing.

thank you for your feedback Mock, this makes it easier for me i think :)

My feedback on ShakeyJake's category.

Fifth Harmony - They'll be very good at getting the crowd going.

One Direction - I'm not very keen on them personally, but they'll go down well with certain audiences.

4th Impact - I think this group needs the right song choices otherwise it could be a mess with these, It will definitely take a lot of confidence to mentor these I think.

Only The Young - Good fun and decent singers, and they can play their own Instruments.

Lyric 145 - If treated with respect these could be the most interesting act in your lineup ShakeyJake.

Alien Uncovered - A mild R&B tone which I don't mind.

Same Difference - Good fun, but I'd be interested to hear how they'd handle the ballads.

Alex & Sierra - They're good singers, and possibly even better performers.

Union J - An okay boyband, with Jaymi being the group's strongest vocalist.

Roxxy Montana - A decent Gospel group I think they'd make.

Restless Road - They're not my kind of thing vocally.

JLS - Some lighthearted Pop never hurt anyone.

Mystic Mock 04-04-2016 09:33 AM

My feedback on Kirk & Will.

Andrea Faustini - A very powerful vocalist with a very manic way of performing, I rate him quite highly.

Aiden Grimshaw - A great singer, an intense performer, he sings in a style that I very much approve of, and he can play an Instrument, his only downside however will be that some of the themes won't suit him.

Willie Jones - An interesting mix between Country and Soul.

Josh Daniel - His a good all rounder, although I'd say that his the master of none.

Marcus Collins - A decent vocalist, and a decent performer, his main test will be doing modern songs I suspect.

Matthew Raymond Barker - As long as he doesn't do any OTT macho songs he should be okay.

Reece Mastin - A great Rocker and a showman, do be careful when it comes to the more Love Song type themes though as I suspect that he might struggle on them.

Paul Akister - A decent vocalist, but he needs to be careful not to sound dated.

Lloyd Daniels - He'll be popular with certain audiences, his not my type of singer though.

Andrei Leonte - He sounds like a mixture of The Weeknd and Years & Years, I quite like him.

Jimmy Davis - A great Rock vocal, he'll need to prove that he has the Rock performance though I think.

Haris Alagic - He reminds me of Lee Ryan out of Blue a little bit, a strong voice, and strong Guitar playing.

Interesting song choices, especially for Lyric 145.

Thanks mystic mock, yeah just wait until you see lyric 145's performance though, they are so unique that they excite me and I would love to mentor them, however I have got 11 other great acts and only 6 places. Will they do enough to get through???
