Awful but sadly it's something that was always going to happen if the reports about security were as lax as they're made out to be. I'm not one for more security but I hope, if the reports ARE true, that Brussels can at least bring security standards up to a point that they are more prepared in future.

I doubt that this is an attack that was organised by Isis tbh, Isis has a tendency to claim any and all terrorist attacks as their own because it makes them look more like a threat. My guess is that the terrorists were evil loners with an axe to grind against everyone, I'll be shocked if they have any legit ties to IS.

But every sign is that this was a highly organised and coordinated attack that had been planned for months and is very likely to be linked to the arrest of Salah Abdeslam.
