I think sometimes we try and view HM's as characters and when we talk about BB we sometimes refer to their 'story arcs' or dramatic moments etc as if they're characters in a drama series, and yes that can sometimes add to their appeal for me, but really they're just people living in a house, they're all just 'existing', but with it being reality TV they don't have to have the usual traits associated with TV characters for me to like them. So there isn't really a defining characteristic, or a 'type' that she fits into, I just liked Kate for Kate tbh.

Yeah absolutely agree, same reason i liked Brian Dowling really, they both made me laugh and were really likeable but not boring either......one Kate moment though :laugh:

IDK, I just found Kate to be very boring and kinda annoying too. Like sure, she's pleasant and probably a decent enough person to enjoy getting to know in real life, but she was MOR and boring and not even memorable to me. Like, we could have done MUCH better with the first female winner through Anna or even bloody Helen or bloody Jade. And we could have done better within the series with Alex :shrug:

Kate's close association with Alison and Spencer and Jonny is also Not A Good Look to me. And I remember ranking her, like, 9th or so in my cast ranking after she won, and then I watched the final episode and wanted to rank her even lower. Oops.

The early series have been having short voting windows since not a lot of people have seen them. But I got 13 votes for BB3 which is like double what I've been getting for BB1/BB2 which is why I closed it when I did.

Altho I wish I'd have left it open longer now as I wanted Alex to win :fist:
