I've not said that Adele was in the wrong, all I've said is that she's only got ballsy because she's a big star now.

Braden 01-06-2016 06:10 PM

I guess if we're discussing her wanting the woman to truely enjoy herself then I suppose I can understand the other side of the argument. This woman was hardly going to enjoy the rest of the concert being the sole person to be scolded in a room full of thousands of people.

Not that I'm fully against the way she handled it. Just balancing the argument a bit :p

....hmmm, I don't really see anything she did or said as ballsy, Mock... I thought that she was quite gracious with the tripod thing..and always seems like a very down to earth and quite humble lady to me...even with her huge successes...

If we can find a source to confirm this woman filming was a Muslim then we are onto a SD winner

..I think that's something that she herself needed to accept responsibility for, if that were true though...(and if it were true, then was really seeing Adele live, so important to her because it doesn't really seem to be from her actions there..)...

No. To you bringing up the fact she's rich.

Which is not the point.

I thought that!

"I want you to enjoy my concert so... I'm going to humiliate you in front of everyone[emoji23]"

But I suppose if you're going to have the cheek to set up a tripod, you should expect that it'll be noticed and the performer might be angry about it.

Yeah, I agree with that. It is strange that someone felt the need to set up a tripod and film the concert instead of just enjoying it in the first place.

As Ammi said i think she needs to accept some responsibility for putting herself in that position anyway

Oh I know I agree with that (that's what I meant by she should have expected it to be noticed and not taken kindly too).

Marsh. 01-06-2016 06:24 PM

I'm still surprised a member of staff at the venue didn't pull her up? They need to do their bloody job.

..I also think that someone who is so lacking in self awareness and so self absorbed as to set up the tripod/videoing equipment like she did, probably doesn't become devastated very easily..so I'm not sure how much embarrassment she would have felt...../poor Adele, turning tripods during her performance...

Babayaro. 01-06-2016 06:30 PM

More to the point, who would go to an Adele concert? Like what would you do, sway back and forth a few times?

Yeah that's also very true. It is very selfish to decide to set one up when there isn't much space to begin with. It may have caused an obstruction like you mentioned.

I low-key want Adele to write a song about tripods for her next album now :p

Denver 01-06-2016 06:40 PM

Adele should have got off stage and lamped the ugly bitch

Jake. 01-06-2016 07:20 PM

Any counter argument against Adele is, quite frankly, ridiculous. She was filming with a tri-pod ffs, she's lucky not to have been kicked out.

Crimson Dynamo 01-06-2016 07:21 PM

Adele should have pushed her over

Jordan. 01-06-2016 07:57 PM

she was right to stop the person but she obviously isn't as down to earth and humble as she likes to portray

Gstar 05-07-2017 12:27 AM

The woman who got told off must feel shame

Mystic Mock 05-07-2017 05:39 AM

I still find it shocking that "Piracy" is seen as so bad compared to some of the crimes that can be committed.

Braden 07-07-2017 06:27 PM

Screaming at me having such strong opinions in this thread.
