Oh and I forgot to say, in terms of Hughie "getting a free pass", I think Lateysha's nomination of him was justified so I've certainly never given him a pass. Actually it was the most justified nomination he got from anyone.

I've never once claimed I'm holier than thou but by all means shift the topic of discussion over to bringing up stuff I said like 2 years ago if you feel discussing forum members individually is more relevant than sticking to the actual subject we all signed up to the forum for in the first place.

Hughie only rows when being pushed. Whereas Natalie STARTS arguments, remember when she started on him because he didn't introduce himself during the reveal, so Natalie followed without introducing herself :joker:

Amy, you've brought up other forum members before anyone else did, you've been making snippy remarks about Hughie fans for days now instead of just sticking to posting your opinion on him alone. I haven't been going around making comments about Natalie fans just because they happen to like her.

If you look further up instead of just wading in for a pop you'll see I fully admitted to Mock I had been judgemental in the past when I was younger, I expect more of myself now just as I expected more from Hughie who's about 5 years older than I am (to keep this on topic since you're apparently trying to derail it)

The OP asked why the viewers/fans are letting him get away with being aggressive. I never once went into anyone personally within the forum and tried to drag up stuff they said years ago to probe a point though.

I do believe he gets away with a lot on here that others might not but I've never tried pin that on a single person or even slated people who put him on a pedestal just said they do it which I believe. I do it with Teesh so I'd have no room to actually do that :laugh:

I read that post, I think I even quoted it earlier :shrug: You said when you was 14-16 but it really doesn't feel that long ago that you was calling Natasha a tramp etc. Instead of "wading in for a pop" maybe I'm just trying to make you realise that everyone makes harsh judgements sometimes.
You say you expected more from Hughie but I doubt that considering you come across as if you hate the guy :laugh: You're just using him calling someone a slag as a way to prove your sudden maturity and superiority (before you deny it, why else would you bring up the fact he's 5 years older than you??) which is funny because you haven't bought up Natalie's age and the fact she's stirring the pot like a school child.

No you've never gotten specific but you have made comments that I've personally found unfair and insulting even if they weren't directed personally at me, like saying Hughie fans justified his comments about Lateysha (which was a generalised comment and so came across like it was aimed at everyone who stuck by Hughie and I never did that) and that we scapegoat Natalie rather than having valid issues with her (though I appreciate you've edited that since).

But of course it's not just you, the OP is doing it to with this very thread but I hope I've since explained adequately how I'm not giving him a "free pass" for anything. I'm happy to admit when someone I like has done something wrong and he absolutely did and I think Lateysha had every right to nominate him, more than any of the others who did for that matter.

I just think we all need to appreciate that we like different people and interpret situations in different ways without making judgments and assumptions on each other based on which housemates we support.

I can see where this is going between me and Amy Jade though and I don't really want to fall out with anyone, so perhaps we should agree to disagree?

If it came across as an attack I can promise you it wasn't one. Not on you or anyone else within this forum. I offer my apologies if I worded it wrongly. I do still think some fans (not necessarily on here) justify a lot of what he does but I appreciate it wasn't you.
