Oh well at least we can say BB17 is a great series until 11th July!

Idg why they don't just extend the series?

Because it's civilian and that only happens for their beloved CBB!

I can't see it being like Armageddon if they've referred to it as an eviction massacre. Maybe like three leave on a Friday and probably a surprise one mid week I reckon.

zakman440 29-06-2016 03:18 PM

Knew the inevitable "oh **** the ratings are down let's have a themed week" week was coming eventually...

Any eviction night that exceeds two people leaving is too much (and I'm not even that much of a fan of doubles)

The first quad eviction ruined what would've been the most unpredictable, best final in BBUK history and the second ruined a very promising series. I can only fear what 'massacre' might entail, 5, 6, 7 evictees? But it's not going to be pretty

I SCREAMED at the "Anniliation week"

They're even doing it right after the Euros the same way they had Armageddon Week after the World Cup in BB15.

This series' ratings aren't even that bad idgi why has this become a norm now

MB. 29-06-2016 03:22 PM

Let's say this series ends Friday 29th July and there are no walkers/ejectees in between:

1/7 - 15 to 14
9/7 - 14 to 13
11/7-15/7 - 13 to 8?
22/7 - 8 to 6
29/7 - 6 to 1

So if I were to guess, I'd say that someone will get Marlon'd mid-week and then four will leave on the Friday :worry: I guess there could potentially be a double next Friday and/or a mid-week eviction before the finale, or maybe they could just do the sensible thing and extend the series

Ross. 29-06-2016 03:23 PM

The tweet says the 'Eviction Massacre' itself takes place on the Friday, 5/6/7 people leaving the house in one night :worry:

Oaker 29-06-2016 03:24 PM

I think it'll just be 3/4 leaving that week and then having a Monday final which C5 used to love doing

Headie 29-06-2016 03:24 PM

They should've just scrapped the past relationship casting thing tbh, if they'd ditched Jason/Sam/Chelsea there'd only be 15 HMs from the start (14 taking into account Andrew's ejection) and that would'v been a doable number to handle for an 8 week series

Jason. 29-06-2016 03:26 PM

Bye I'm turning off right after this 'massacre' thing. They're making the same mistake they did last year and pressing the panic button which only hinders the series.

Who gives a crap about ratings (if that's why they're doing it) I just want them to produce a good series. Like whether it's 1.3m or 1.6m - it's still a fraction of what it used to rate years ago. Move on. I don't remember C5 coming up with these gimmicks during the final few weeks of BB13 where it was rating under a million. Can they go back to that please

They won't have to feed them all until the end if they have a cull, what you think C5 is made of money?!

azi 29-06-2016 03:27 PM

Mess but seems fun
At least it wasn't early
I hope it's only 3 not more

Drew. 29-06-2016 03:27 PM

I can't get over how much of a failure they are by building a new house that lasted about a week and being left with an overcrowded house due to them cocking up their own twist. This was inevitable

Babayaro. 29-06-2016 03:28 PM

They all need sacked.

Withano 29-06-2016 03:28 PM

Actually, i think im fine with it

Vote to evict, chelsea, evelyn, sam and hopefully jackson will go
Vote to save, chelsea, charlie, sam and hopefully alex will go

Theyre disposable

Jason. 29-06-2016 03:29 PM

Any mass eviction is crap tbh regardless if it's on Week 2 or Week 7. It didn't work for BB11 when the production was better than it is now. And it certainly didn't work in BB16. Do they even learn?

MB. 29-06-2016 03:30 PM

I'm sure that if they received even a handful of complaints over this (not sure what anyone would complain about other than it being a **** idea, but hey ho) they'd piss themselves in fear of losing six viewers and backtrack immediately, as is the perception of this production team that I've built up over the years

ebandit 29-06-2016 03:31 PM

it could be great...ya know?...it really could....

Ashley. 29-06-2016 03:33 PM

I'm fine with multiple evictions within one week as long as they're spaced out (Tuesday and Friday) and fair (public vote).

However, the chances of getting either of these are extremely minimal.

iloveaisleyne 29-06-2016 03:34 PM

I hope it won't just be "lol 4 are being evicted tonight" I hope it's something exciting

Oaker 29-06-2016 03:34 PM

If anything I'm glad that they've announced it 2 weeks in advance so they actually might have some form of a plan on what they're going to do.

Will. 29-06-2016 03:34 PM

Where is this from? The TV guide just has normal BB on the 11th.
