What to do is to make a list of every little thing and take it along and give it to the Doctor. That way you won't forget anything and they can see in a glance things that you feel is wrong.

Doctors are very good, and most them are really good listeners. I find the females ones are better but I have met lots of great male Doctors too.
I went through a really hard time when I left Bristol. My family were really worried about me but I didnt see I had a problem. My mood was horrid, I couldnt coupe and I wouldnt go out of the house. My sister dragged me up to the Doctors but Red told me to make a list of everything that was on my mind and what has been happening. I did and I was so nervous but as soon as I started to open up I just couldnt stop. I thought the Doctor was going to say... "oh your ok.... chin up" but he didnt and basically said that because of the rough time I was having it was my bodies way of asking for help.

I'm now fine, yes I have had to take something to help but only a small dose. It took me 6 months to get myself straight. Now I can go out without panicking I dont skip a heart beat every-time the door goes and I can answer the phone

Aww Kiz
At least you sorted yourself out

Red Moon 18-02-2007 09:53 AM

You can do the same Sophii3x and I know you will do it.

Sophii3x 18-02-2007 09:59 AM

hehe. I'll probably have to pretend that I'm going to town on my own to get out of the house

They just think that I wont eat because I caught a 'bug' in school

Sophii3x 21-02-2007 09:34 AM

Would a pediatrician help?
I have to see one of them for some reason.. and I don't know why :|

Whatever you do dont make yourself sick, it has bad consecuences on your hair, skin, nails etc.

Id advise to see a doctor.

Sophii3x 21-02-2007 02:45 PM

It's already been done tinkerbell (making myself sick) :|
I'm trying to go to the doctor sometime this week, if not this week I'll go after school sometime

Sophii3x 12-03-2007 07:35 AM

Wish me luck!

Sophii3x 12-03-2007 10:47 AM

Thanks Geoff!

I went. She basically told me that I need to eat (which will be hard after an entire month of not eating anything). I told her that Iv'e lost alot of weight because of it, she wanted to weigh me, but I refused. Explained about sugar levels and stuff. I need to go back there next week.

No! I was shocked. I thought that I'd have to go to a specialist.

My parent's have finally realised what's going on. Iv'e lost so much weight and my boobs have shrunk.

lily. 12-03-2007 12:00 PM

It's good that ur parents know though, and to be honest I don't blame them for not noticing up til now, because they are probably concentrating a lot of their time and worries on your sister and the pregnancy. I'm not saying they are ignoring you, but you know what I mean... they have so much to think about.

How did they react? Are they supportive and helpful?

Sophii3x 12-03-2007 12:02 PM

They are ok about it. Trying to help me, but I'm soo snappy I keep on telling them to get lost!

Well, you are a teenager Soph.. it's your job to snap at your parents!

Seriously though.. I'm glad they are understanding... that will help in the long run, and when you feel like talking you know they will be there.. Being a teenager is hard.. I do remember it.. even though it was a long time ago.. but being a parent is also hard.. so try not to be too hard on them...

I suppose. I'm very crabby towards them, I'm suprised that they haven't shouted at me back.

Britney Spears has reportedly told doctors at her rehabilitation clinic that she has been bulimic since the age of 16.

The troubled pop princess reportedly told staff at the Promises Centre in Malibu that she has suffered from bulimia for the past nine years, although she managed to beat the eating disorder briefly during her two pregnancies.

According to an American magazine, Spears tearfully told counsellors that she “pigs out” on junk food before she makes herself vomit to avoid putting on weight.

A source told the Daily Express: "Doctors are alarmed at the physical state she is in. They confronted her about her desperately unhealthy lifestyle and the truth came pouring out.

“For the first few days, she’d take her tablets, then go off and eat breakfast or lunch. She was throwing the whole lot up, so, naturally, her medications weren’t working. Now the medical experts know why, her progress should pick up a little speed."
