Yes it was.

That comment to Emma was said after Jason had given his reason.

Yes it's a great example, but I'm asking what he's said in the house, have these comments been aired and if so can anyone refresh my memory.

Fair play to Jason.

He didn't actually say that though did he?

He said " You're quite funny for a bird" which is virtually saying girls aren't really funny as men ,no good splitting hairs over it,women are NOT birds and can be equally as funny as men, funny how ryan has suddenly picked up a couple of fans.

Lister of Smeg 16-07-2016 10:48 AM

Why should Jason explain himself to people that would have evicted him in that position

Kazanne 16-07-2016 11:44 AM

As much as I dislike Aisleyne ,maybe she has the answer
From Aisleyne on twitter:-

"Yessssssss Ryan be gone!Justice for my friend @JustLukeyA and VERY apt with Jason's reasons! Wait till u read my column 2moro "

Did something come out over the last day?

hot2go 16-07-2016 12:30 PM

Can't see the problem,....Hughie asked a question, Hughie got the answer.
Jason obv saw in Ryan what has been seen on the outside with Ryans troll tweets attacking Luke A for being transgender and Ryans troll videos tracking unemployed and over weight people. Jason assessment of Ryan seems pretty spot on to me.

It's the way Hughie talks/asks others that gets him in trouble...

sure he has every right to ask.. but Hughie has a lot to learn about how to talk to people...sadly as he like Charlie most things he is advised of falls on deaf ears:shrug:

He really slipped up with Emma last night....his casual throw away remark was very telling indeed. And I'm really not quoting Jason when I say that his choice of language was derogatory ...it's exactly the word I would use to describe any one who calls women birds....it's a very unusual term to be used by a gay man....I've never met one who does....when I think about men who call women birds I think about London cab drivers, or scallys or old blokes in the boozer....but never heard a gay guy say it.

Well, we know what he meant now and it only showed him to be even more nice of a guy.

No it makes him look snide, why didn't he pipe up in the bedroom? He was happy enough to bitch about it with Andy, but didn't have the time to take Ryan aside? Ryan was crude but neither Alex or Evelyn were offended

Vanessa 16-07-2016 09:03 PM

Gone off Hughie. He can **** off now :nono:

Why for defending his friend? At put least Jason knows where he stands unlike Ryan who had no clue what Jason had stored up for him

For singling out Jason. 4 people picked Ryan, but surprise surprise: it's all Jason fault! :bored:

His reasons Vanessa, nothing to do with his nom, his reasons, did you not notice Jason actually telling Hughie he would explain? He didn't need to do that if he didn't feel guilty

hot2go 16-07-2016 09:10 PM

Having seen what he said I totally agree with Jason...there's a time and place and a familiarity with people that allows that type of humour and on national tele and to a young couple who've not even kissed yet Ryan was completly out of order and wrong.

So why not say it there and then?

hot2go 16-07-2016 09:12 PM

People like Ryan and Lateysha are so basic and Vulger and stupid they think everyone is like them and that what they say and do is acceptable and it just isn't.

No one said it was acceptable, but Jason had two days to have a word

Because like Andy, he found himself in a room full of people who find that vulgarly acceptable so he was out numbered and would have just looked like a kill joy....

And anyway, far better to say nothing than use it as one of the killer votes to remove the problem....jobs a good en,,,now Jason won't have to feel uncomfortable around him any more.

He gave a valid reason and doesn't owe anyone any explanation. Of course it's alright for the other three to pick Ryan. They don't get hassle for it.

Did Jason come to sit near Hughie on the sofa and explain his reasons or not?
