LOL.... Give us some details Ash!
Haha, it doesn't hurt. One of them (polio I think) you have to take a salt tablet and I swear it's the grossest thing you'll ever take!

The injections aren't bad at all.

Bells 12-03-2007 06:08 PM

Relax you people that one doesn't hurt AT ALL!

Seriously.

Emilee 12-03-2007 06:27 PM

Ok thanks Ash!

andybigbro 12-03-2007 11:45 PM

Good luck.

And yeah I did. I was called in to have it with my friend, and he was really really scared, but I had a note saying I had already had it done. Then as we entered, he got his sheet and walked over, but I showed the nurse my note and she said "Oh, you had it done over 10 years ago" and I was like "Yeah..." and then she said that if I want I needed a new one, and that I should really have it. So I didn't know what to do. Then she called my mum up, but no one answered. So I sat down and watched others get it done, and went all funny. So she took me outside and we had a chat. I told her I was really nervous, and she was convincing me it wouldn't hurt.

So then I went outside for some air, and came back in. She then asked me if I wanted some water, so we went back in the hall and took me to the fountain. But next to the fountain were these chairs where the people who had just had it done sat. Sitting there was my friend and this boy. So she was getting me some water, when I noticed the boy was lying down. Then he started shaking and fell on the floor, and the nurses were all rushing to him. He had fainted. So I was like "Naw, I'm not gonna go through that" it was really bad timing. So they said to come back after my next lesson.

I came back to the hall, and it was empty, just a few nurses were there. And they were like "Just sit down, and we'll do this". I sat down, and she started asking me questions about my health etc... Then she said for me to tell her "I'm ready" but I was telling her I wasn't. And I looked away like "Jesus christ I can't do this". And she said "done". I was like "Huh?" and she told me she had done it. I was so shocked, I didn't even feel it. All that for nothing.

WOW! I think it's normal to be scared, at least the nurse helped you, my school nurse is a nasty bitch! I bet your glad it's all over! Is it true that your whole arm goes numb after? A few people in my year had allergic reactions, is that boy ok?

Good (that the the boy is ok).I don't really mind my arm going numb. I'll just make sure that I get it done on my right side (I write with) so I don't have to write!:spin2:

Which one are you having?
One with the four drugs, the one you had.
The one that makes your arm numb!

I was so scared, and I ended up not even feeling it.

You feel it go in your skin, but it doesn't hurt one little bit.

Sophii3x 14-03-2007 02:37 PM

The agonyyyy:bawling:

The actual injection was fine, but after a boy in my class thought it would be funny to punch me in the arm. He punched me right in the arm and I ended up crying in the toilets for 20 minutes. He got in trouble though, so I'm glad!

BigSister 14-03-2007 02:52 PM

 Sophie. I know the injection isnt that bad but you arm aches for ages. Stupid boy
