Just watch her in Ringer. TERRIBLE actress.

Jason. 16-02-2017 03:33 PM

Do not come for SMG and Kathryn!

Marsh. 16-02-2017 03:34 PM

Hue is Kathryn.

Jason. 16-02-2017 03:36 PM

I don't think she's a bad actress at all, she just chose crap roles which haven't really helped her career. She was good in IKWYDLS, Cruel Intentions and Buffy.

Jason. 16-02-2017 03:41 PM

IA with your point about Brad Pitt earlier though. He seems more like a stunt cast to me rather than for his acting ability.

Wooden in all of those.

The US remake of The Ring is better than the Japanese one.
The Marvel Cinematic Universe has become too overblown and the increasingly massive scope makes it less appealing to bother trying to keep up with it.
While I enjoy Game of Thrones and of course appreciate that it's one of the best-made shows on TV, I'm not particularly invested in it beyond a surface level of enjoyment (there are shows that I'm absolutely hooked on and GoT isn't one) and the thought of it ending in the next couple of years doesn't bother me at all.

Corrie is the worst soap.

Brother Leon 16-02-2017 06:48 PM

Lost is Trash.

Sherlock is Trash.

I've never watched all of a Star Wars or Lord Of The Rings movie.

The Revenant is one of Leo's weakest performances despite the Oscar.

What's Eating Gilbert Grape Is Leo's best Performsnce and should have been his first Oscar award.

The two I can think of:

I enjoyed Terminator Salvation and I thought Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull was great fun.

I thought Salvation was a decent enough Sci-Fi flick - certainly moreso than Terminator 3 or the newest one :umm2: - but not a particularly good Terminator film compared to the first two. Still waiting for a good sequel on that front :(.

Crystal Skull though. Come on. Just... it's barely watchable...

I get what you mean with Game Of Thrones, I really enjoy the programme but I do have personal favourites over it that are technically not written as well as Game Of Thrones.

I think Game Of Thrones hype is that it's a Fantasy programme that's more adult than what you usually get on TV, and it's actually got good quality to it which is unusual on TV with the exception of Merlin, which even that had to play to the family route.

Marsh. 16-02-2017 11:53 PM

Merlin's production values were terrible though. Not on the same scale as GoT.

Oh technically Merlin's miles behind, and it fell into the slashing community a little bit with Merlin and Arthur's dynamic during season 4 and 5 in particular.

However considering it's production values being lower than most of the Fantasy shows from the US, I would say that it bests most of them bar Game Of Thrones, especially Charmed which I don't get how that got 8 seasons was it? None of them can act, the dialogue is beyond appalling, and all of them get treated like a piece of meat on the programme with the exception of Piper who instead gets treated as just the housewife.

I'd say the one thing Charmed had going for it was the acting of the three leads. They were all strong.

Apart from poor Rose McGowan.

The best thing about Charmed and Buffy is the theme tunes.

Oh how Rock Music really needs to come back into trend, especially as theme Music for weaker quality programmes imo.:joker:

Charmed's theme was more pop imo. A cover of a rock song but very pop rock.

It had more of a Grunge sound I thought with a bit of an Emo vibe.
