Aren't the results the next night so surely there's enough time for people to go through each entry properly? Sometimes I rush through entries because I'm trying to keep up and when people post "amazing entry :clap1: right after it has been posted is a bit sketch.

I've been looking through past threads for inspiration and I honestly might not bother submitting anything, because nothing I could possibly write could better that time Jake sent in a Jade Goody/Ken Russell duet of Don't Go Breaking My Heart

The way I'd encourage long-term writers to keep coming back to this is that we seem to have a tendency of winning with what we thought was "our worst song" - I know Dezzy agrees and I certainly do. I make up a picture of Patrick & Karl to sing about Josef Fritzl and take the crown, but I literally rap as Nigel Farage to Super Bass and get paid dust </3 (but did lose to a great song tbf). Jake's another good example, won with something he wrote in 10 minutes but "flop"s* with Ken/Jade.

and poor Z never won a single edition </3 despite some absolute belters. So all in all - if you write something actually amazing you're probably going to lose anyway x
