It to be revealed the 100 days is cutting the series suddenly down to 77 days and doing another quad eviction of all the big characters of the series before UBB as the last again?

Ant. 16-05-2018 08:28 PM

UBB2 to actually be Big Brother Panto 2?

Glenn. 16-05-2018 09:20 PM

I hope it starts at the end of July rather than August/September. Not here for watching the last ever Big Brother final with the Christmas decs up!

T* 16-05-2018 10:26 PM

lmao this would be a disaster
BB was always meant for the summer

T* 16-05-2018 10:28 PM

17 in 17 out coming in week 7?

BigBrudder 16-05-2018 10:50 PM

Does this possibly mean that CBB will air before regular BB, starting say late June or July, and this is a way 5 think they can compete against Love Island?

Considering the show is on the verge of cancellation it would be disastrous not to look at ways to avoid clashes with higher profile programing... Regardless of your misguided personal opinion...

Marsh. 17-05-2018 12:25 AM

Just stop making it and don't bring it back at all now. Thanks channel 5. :)

A minor point granted, but as has been mentioned in other threads they advertised the auditions heavily to uni students. They're bound to cast at least one student of some sort right, especially if they're gonna lean in on a young v old divide of sorts? Mid September would be the latest it could run if they did cast a housemate with university/college commitments.

I still think a July launch would be ideal. We've heard they're doing auditions this weekend, but after that I imagine it's dwindling down and they'll start getting to the nitty gritty. If they decide the housemates by mid-June there's no reason it can't start mid-July. I really doubt they're gonna curve Love Island completely just to salvage the ratings at this point if I'm honest. As for length, 50-60 days is fine. A long run would be fun, but 2 months is more than ok with me.

All of their 100 day series were good.

The 2013 one even lasted 101 days.

Gstar 17-05-2018 05:21 AM

They should suck it up and clash with LI, no one has time for a September launch

77 days would be a max i think,

but not enough people watched the housemates from the lasts 5 years so they should not bring them back... been there done that move on...

I would prefer if producers declare that this year has the biggest budget to spend... not just the longest running...

and it would be great if for a week of two Bbuk and bb america can join together...

but I would prefer a July 1st start not august 31st... thats NOT summer!:conf:

Maybe their plan is to ship all the love islanders straight from Majorca to Borehamwood

No thanks. The last type of housemates I'd want to see.

I like how everyone is confused, and I think this is what Channel 5's agenda is.

People don't know if a summer CBB is gonna happen this year. Nobody knows if the show is gonna air in July, or September. Or CBB is gonna premiere in July, and Summer BB in September. Of if summer BB is gonna premiere in September, and there is gonna be two winter CBB's one in November/December, the other in January. lol.

To be honest, ever since Channel 5 did that 4 in and 4 out timebomb twist, I'm not surprised at what they do anymore.

Why does it have to be summer? It’s different with LI where it’s all about sun, bodies, a holiday etc. BB is about big characters living together in borehamewood, so why should it matter what time of year is it?

I'm mostly just thinking about it from the perspective of the house mates...

1 students are off uni or class... Hence they can come in without taking time off college..
2 being in the house is boring but in the summer you can sun bath to pas the time.
3. When it's warm you can wear nicer cloths as its hot... Jumpers are warm but ugly... And I hurd that they don't heat the rooms up properly so everyone get colds... In winter it would be worse..

Maybe an older house is better. Jayne

I don't remember seeing any January CBB housemates sunbathing in the snow just to pass the time

Maru 17-05-2018 10:51 PM

Yeah, if that actually happened it will be shortened while it's airing ... "Congrats housemates, you are the final 10"
