I personally thought Ashleigh was endearing through the fact she was one of the only people who could hold her own against Helen, and while she could be moody (can't blame her tbh), she had great moments and solid friendships in the house with Chris, Christopher, Danielle and Toya.
I just see her as the less confrontational foil to Helen which is why I can only wonder why one can be considered a 'legend' but the other can't

it's hard to explain, i believe helen is a 'legend' because she completely dominated the series in the sense of highlight show n the conflict / relationships involved in the house, everyone talked about her and still do as well, a 'legend' is not always the nicest /sweetest housemate, however i have a hard time calling helen my favourite of the series because though i found a lot of the stuff she said n did funny n entertaining, some of the stuff she said and the way she treated some people were vile and i do not agree with, so my favourite lies with ashleigh due to the fact she did provide some hilarious and iconic moments (her rant about helen n take down of kimberly at the dinner party ), but she was inconsistent, she had off and boring weeks and if she was in any other series she wouldn't have been my fav, she is simply the best of a horrific bunch, hope that made sense
i don't think she fits a legend because she didn't dominate the series, she wasn't providing countless diary room moments and quotes like chanelle bb18 for example and she was nowhere near one of the most entertaining housemates of c5 let alone ha series. yes she was great taking down helen but she was too miserable and not in an entertaining way to be a 'legend' IMO, but i think i'm being more harsh than others in giving a 'legend' status
