It's dead, time to just enjoy the last series and move on!

this tea, honestly who cares about ratings anymore the show is on it's way out :skull:

Greg! 15-09-2018 12:17 PM

They probably did though tbf, A Friday launch, against gogglebox, with no episode tomorrow. Was always going to flop.

Denver 15-09-2018 12:20 PM

It has nothing to do with scheduling but the **** show series they have put out for years which is why people didnt turn in

It matters more than ever.

It needs to rate a lot higher for other channels to pick it up and pay the hefty price tag for the show.

If its a flop who is going to want to fork out 40 million for it?

Endemol will have to realise CBB is the money maker and have to drop the price a lot

Hitman teas

I really don't understand why some of y'all are almost celebrating how low the launch ratings were, this isn't a good sign for a BB fan by any means...

Ant. 15-09-2018 12:31 PM

when I got a message saying "omg at the ratings" I was expecting it to be 2 million+ bc naturally I thought fans of old and new would tune in to see the final launch following the news

but nope all we got is A FLOP

AProducer'sWetDream 15-09-2018 12:35 PM

Although tbf if the interest is indeed coming from online services like Netflix/Amazon, then the overnights aren't massively relevant and the officials will be more of an indicator of how lucrative it could/couldn't be for them.

She's still dead tho

^^

The overnight ratings were like, almost doubled once officials were added during a lot of CBB22. Big Brother would certainly be a good risk for Netflix/Amazon/YT to take.

Anyway I'll be doing the Lord's work and watching again on catchup with my flatmate who missed it.

other channels can make it work and be successful i guess, rather than the dire and vile channel 5 who didn't have any effort for BB at all

Denver 15-09-2018 12:42 PM

I want to know why Endemol want 40 million a year? clearly they dot make other countries pay that

Recognising that the show is tired and and needs a lengthy rest is hardly celebrating low ratings but ok sis!

I hope it can be at least 1.4m, but i think it was more like 1.1m

Is this you Stefano?

supertv247 15-09-2018 02:20 PM

900k is only 100k more than what some episodes of CBB got on catch up ALONE :skull:
maybe the future of this show is online

Rob! 16-09-2018 02:20 PM

So what do we think tonight?

Everything is against it. I'm guessing 600k? :(

C5 is desperate for low ratings, so i expect also around 600k

RileyH 16-09-2018 02:22 PM

600k is generous

*mazedsalv** 16-09-2018 10:44 PM

Probably 600k

But this series deserves to climb, that episode was iconic,

Lets just hope that the **** ratings was because Gogglebox was on....

I know im a loser for dreading tomorrows viewing figures and will be perched like a lout drinking larger watching their favourite team at a football match hoping they win!

Kind of get the feeling you have that same passion for BB which makes me feel less of a geek :p

pontyboi 17-09-2018 09:57 AM

Last night got 755k not sure if that included plus 1 and don't know the share yet.

supertv247 17-09-2018 10:00 AM

755k inc+1 6.9% share up 0.9% on the launch night share

This episode is higher than the last 2 Sundays last summer, other than them it's the lowest Sunday rating ever, but that's not too bad considering it was on until 11:30pm and every Sunday last year was on 9-10pm or 10-11pm
