Mine more or less changes with my mood so you can kind of tell what mindset I'm in based on my avatar.

Tbh I like a mix. There are some people who can change every so often and it's fine, and there are others who MUST NEVER change or the forum will implode e.g. Arista, Kirk, Livia.

I change every few months, matter of fact my first three months here, I've had no avatar.
