Which was pretty much a given in the first place.

They should have Kylie Minogue as their big guest for the premier episode.

Eddie Izzard, Little Mix, Cheryl, Alesha Dixon, Anita Dobson & Bev Callard.

Ball was pretending to care but she is good at that

zrc 15-02-2019 02:48 PM

Zoe Ball hasn't cared about anything since about 1992.

He said he saw it on Twitter, there’s been no announcement from Paul and after what he said about the show I wouldn’t be surprised if we wasn’t on it and Alan just got gooped by a rumor account

Yes. Which is why I'll be waiting for it on YouTube.

It’s online only so out of protest you’ll be... waiting until it’s online?

No because they get shown on BBC1 the following week

Gstar 16-02-2019 12:13 AM

Excited for this :cheer2:

Scoot 16-02-2019 02:15 AM

Lowkey expecting this to be miles ahead of the US version.

An Australian one someday would be cute.

Don't need a tv license for YouTube. Which isn't a protest.

Perched for her guest appearance when they do a Love Island improv ep

Shaun 23-03-2019 02:54 PM

Seems they're filming it either now or very, very soon indeed  wonder how that'll work with the S11 finale due to be filmed next month

I'm also intrigued af as to what our Workroom will look like. Will they try to replicate it, or go for something for British-themed, or just a generic "whatever studio we can find" set

zrc 23-03-2019 02:55 PM

Quite easily. They'll bang out the filming of this in like two weeks. Probably happen before or after the finale filming then straight to filming All Stars 5, then Season 12.

I'm not happy about all the queens being from London anyway.

Smithy 23-03-2019 02:58 PM

Well we have 11 queens left, assuming there’s a final 4 that’s 7 weeks in theory until the finale airs (potentially 8 if they bring a queen back) and the show only takes 4 weeks to film so I imagine it’ll be fine

I hope it’s not the same as the US where we have to wait till next year to see it :umm2:

Hoping for an October/November airing

A BBC article said end of 19 into 20. It also said there's only 10 queens and all of them from London. So probably end of Nov/beginning of Dec start?

Also:

However, Gay Times reported that*filming began on March 1, which means that, out there, somewhere, the ten queens that I will inevitably become well and truly obsessed with are competing, posing, and being asked to lip sync for their lives.

Filming starts this week I believe and finishes mid-April.

Why do they all need to be from London? Seems a shame for other scenes.

I was expecting one from Birmingham, Blackpool, Brighton and Manchester at least. London queens would've been the UKs version of New York Queens anyway.

Apparently they only cast one black queen too (take that with a pinch of salt as it came from Jakeyonce's Twitter or whatever he's called).

Headie 23-03-2019 04:32 PM

Manchester/Blackpool queens are legendary, it’s not Drag Race UK without a northern gob*****!

zrc 23-03-2019 04:37 PM

Some on Twitter have said they're filming at Elstree Studios.

Mess at one of his followers thinking Lauren Harries is competing

Lol. Cue her walking into the werk room shouting "where's Rylan?"

Ru said something about announcing the winners prize soon.

* A sickening years supply of Claire's cosmetics.
* 20 wigs from Poundland.
* a cash prize of £75 and the bus fair home.

TomC 23-03-2019 05:18 PM

There seems to be a good scene in Glasgow too!

Shame there’s only one black queen. Drag Race has always been so diverse and I’d like that to be translated to the UK version.
