They are capitalising on a Stranger Things vibe, yes. Though, that doesn't necessarily mean it can't still be good. We'll see.

Based on every other AHS season I'm expecting to enjoy the first half, think most of the second half is still watchable, and then find the last 2 episodes ridiculous trash.

Gus kenworthy CANNOT act omg :skull:

Fetch The Bolt Cutters 19-09-2019 11:59 AM

I screamed @ 70% of his screentime being shirtless though

Ryan knows what the gays want

Don’t really know what to make of that opening tbh. I’m not hooked on it.

Gus’ acting is kinda cringe

Cal. 19-09-2019 03:08 PM

I really liked it.

Screaming

Tom4784 19-09-2019 06:59 PM

It was a pretty decent start but I don't know how they can sustain a story this slight over a whole season unless there's a massive twist coming.

Also Gus Kenworthy is painful to watch and Ryan Murphy needs to stop casting with his dick.

Saph 19-09-2019 08:18 PM

I forgot about this! I'll give it a watch tomorrow!

I wish it had Sarah/Jessiqa tho

Tom4784 26-09-2019 11:49 AM

The second episode was a massive improvement.

Spoiler:

I'm starting to think they are literally stuck in a slasher film. Either that or the murders are some sort of cycle so we might have the first few episodes take place in the 80's, the next in the 90's and so on and so forth.

Fetch The Bolt Cutters 26-09-2019 11:50 AM

Ep 2 was so much better

I screamed @ “can i see your feet” jghkhg

Glenn. 28-09-2019 01:24 AM

I’m really liking this season. I love how it’s basically just Friday the 13th.

Spoiler:

also loving the supernatural elements which is a nice expansion of the AHS universe as a whole.
I’m hoping they have enough story to sustain a decent story though.

Gus needs to be killed because I just can’t be dealing with watching anymore of his ‘acting’

Sounds like you have predicted the "massive twist" to me. Lol.

Fetch The Bolt Cutters 30-09-2019 08:43 PM

Ep 6 is called “episode 100” :worry:

Fetch The Bolt Cutters 30-09-2019 08:43 PM

Oh nvm i thought that would be related to the story somehow but it’s just the number of overall episodes idk

Im confused but loving it

Tom4784 07-10-2019 03:35 PM

Too many twists tbh.

Spoiler:

Having pretty much everyone linked to either a murder or a murderer is a bit of a stretch and I thought the twist with Montana was particularly poorly timed considering the Rita twist earlier in the episode. Episode 2 had me on board but the third episode lost me a bit.

Wizard. 07-10-2019 04:13 PM

I agree with Dezzy. Also like I hate the camp setting lmao there's not even anyone else there and oh no authorities have gone to look for a psycho maniac whose on the loose?

As stereotypical as it is, I probably would've preferred it if it was set in a High School or in a small town.

Tom4784 18-10-2019 02:16 PM

Spoiler:

I was thinking that a lot of this season reminded me of Hotel and it looks like they're heading in that direction with yet ANOTHER season about ghosts trapped in a location. I'm hoping there's a twist to it like there was with Roanoke since I adored that season but at the moment, it's just looking like Hotel 2.0.

I don't know where they can go with this season and ultimately I don't think I care too much.
