Not sure why people are demonstrating against Boris Johnson. ..they should be protesting against one if the marches organisers...ie Emily Thornbury a woman who voted for the carpet bombing of muslims in Africa whilst Boris told the nation it would be a disaster...so what's worse...wanting to bomb burka waring women or merely saying they look like letterboxes....I smell hypocrisy.

Beso 03-06-2019 11:33 AM

Obama...a man whos immigration laws kicked out more immigrants than trump has...a man who has dropped more bombs on brown people than trump has.....where was his effigy.....was it cause he's black that he didn't get one....never mind the lack of protest against him..

I smell more hypocrisy.

London mayor @SadiqKhan thinks @realDonaldTrump should be kept
out of Britain over retweets – but he fought tooth and nail for avowed anti-Semite and anti-white racist Louis Farrakhan to enter the country during his time
as a lawyer for the extremist Nation of Islam group.

I am not a massive Trump fan, or a fan at all actually. I'm married to an American who has no interest in returning to the US while he's president. That said, he is the democratically elected president of our most powerful ally, one who is willing to do a trade deal with us minutes after we leave the EU. We've hosted some of the biggest despots, murderers, dictators in history and apart from a little disruption with the Chinese leader, I don't remember protests that were the No1 story on the news. People think Brexit has shamed us.... I think the way our greatest ally, our most powerful ally has been treated shames us. I do not respect the man, but I respect his office and he should welcomed here the same as any leader.

Trump has said we'd do a trade deal as soon as we left the EU.

Obama said we could join the back of a very long line.

Well said Livia , he is also coming to commemorate the soldiers who gave their lives on D Day surely that deserves some respect , like you I am not a massive fan but from what I see at this time ,Britain is being far more childish and disrespectful than he is , we need to stop being so immature and welcome him as we have all the other undesirables we have had here, I 've seen grown ups on TV today acting like little children ,it's most embarrassing, getting all excited over a stupid balloon, the Americans must think we are right barm pots.

If you want to know the level of respect on this forum from some of its members, go and look at the "bgt winner a mass murderer why?" thread. It'll give you an idea of the intelligence of some people too.

So lets get this straight , it's ok for people to insult Trump, but Trump can't insult anyone ? :joker::joker::joker: sadiq khan is an idiot , and Queen Elizabeth (not Liz , that's an insult) seemed very happy to see him, bet they have a right old laugh.

bots 03-06-2019 01:37 PM

if he wasn't a divisive man, people wouldn't be protesting, you reap what you sow.
