I think the new casting strategy is to cast people who have huge following on Instagram and the like... but also I think it comes down to deals with CBS in the the US, and which ever station runs love island and obviously their own MTV shows

The cast is looking great so far but I could certainly do without Cara, Zach, and Jozea

I really want to see Melissa and Laurel on this season

Who from BBUK would they cast? I can’t think of many names that would bring both athleticism and drama, and are under 30. Other than like Lewis F and Anamelia maybe.

I'm not a big fan of Kayleigh but i don't mind her on the challenge, she's much better on MTV shows than she was on Big Brother.

Yup I hated Kayleigh on BB but I actually appreciate her as a cast member on The Challenge. Don’t really like her as a person but I find her entertaining.

tbh love islanders have a huge following and bring an audience to the show, plus they are all fit, big brother is a cancelled show they’d never get anyone from there

so is the batchelor canada since 2017 and they still got shaleen so i certainly wouldn’t rule it out if they found someone they were very interested in

I don't get why they did a whole season full of strong competitive girl rookies (like Mattie, Dee and Ninja, even the twins seemed physically fit) who the show hasn't had for the past few series as it's been filled up with insta girls to then not bring even one of them back, like I can't stand Ninja but there's been no girl on the show for ages who actually poses a threat to Cara

It’s still possible that those girls will be casted. Nothing is set in stone until departure day, and even then things can change at the very last minute.
