Mad science genius Emery is playing David Luiz in midfield. What could possibly go wrong

How have we not sacked this idiot yet? Impressive the way Spurs sacked Poch and appointed Mourinho the next day. We'll stick with this chump till its far to late. :bored:

Mystic Mock 28-11-2019 09:09 PM

That performance was a bit rough tonight.

7 games without a win does make me think that Emery could be sacked before the Norwich game, although I think that there's deeper issues at Arsenal than Wenger or Emery that need to be removed.

Dogeatdog 28-11-2019 09:21 PM

The fact that Emery now has Arsenal in a worser position in the PL table than when Wenger was in charge and now has managed to lose to Frankfurt at home I’m shocked he still has a job. The board need to act and get rid of him.

I watch it live on by sports when it was 2-1 he just stood there time to sack him if he last till Sunday only a win can save him but if it was me I sack him tonight :cheer2:

Europa League manager at best. Nuno who’s rumoured to replace him isn’t much better imo

Some times he makes changes too early other times he just stands there.

I'd take anyone at the moment but hoping for Arteta. Nuno would make us more organised which is one of the problems so I'd take him.

Nuno would just be another step backwards for them imo but like Mock said, there’s deeper issues than just the manager. I think whichever manager they will bring in, the club will continue to have the same problems.

Arsenal should go for Neil Lennon, they are the same level

Not funny :nono:

King Gizzard 28-11-2019 09:34 PM

I’d secure Gallardo for next season. Looking at his record at turning River Plate into a powerhouse in a short space of time seems like the kick up the backside arsenal could do with

I’m not an expert on him but Jonathan Wilson seems to love him and I tend to agree with whatever he says tbh

King Gizzard 28-11-2019 09:37 PM

Or the bloke at Ajax but I think Bayern have already been rejected to talk with him

Jonathan Wilson loves his Argentinian foot ball a bit too much for me. He knows his stuff, granted, but it'd be a huge risk going for a manager who has never managed in Europe.

Denver 28-11-2019 09:40 PM

They need a long term plan and not just a quick decision.

Look at Liverpool for instance, Klopp said he wanted to take time off after leaving Dortmund so Liverpool purposely waiting 3 months to sack Rodgers then made a long term offer to Klopp that he couldn't refuse.

You need a manager who has a plan and who will deliver it.

True about him coming straight out of South America it might be a culture shock but equally the pressure over their is probably even bigger than in Europe, and there are quite a few success stories with Argentine managers in Europe but again, Simeone is a Spanish speaker and Poch started out in La Liga so it’d be a gamble

Arteta?

Klopp wasnt doing too good till he signed VVD. Lets always establish that when you eulogise about him. I remember the Lovren Gonez center back partnership. :yuk:

We not going to attract a huge name like Allegri, I doubt Poch will come so Arteta for me. He'd be given time due to his inexperience. I heard on a TIFO sports podcast that City are gonna hand him the job when Pep quits - estimated to be around this time next year or 2021 at the latest. He's taken full control of the City squad for at least one Champions league match when Pep was banned and in the stand and he took control when they beat a Wenger managed team two years ago Peps happy with him and has recommenced he take over. He's going to be a good manager I just hope its with us.

King Gizzard 28-11-2019 09:51 PM

I’m not even sure Allegri’s even that good, failed at Milan then fell on his feet with Juventus being miles better than everyone else, but I don’t really pay attention to Italian football much

I'd go for Biela if we were to go for a manager with limited European experience.
