I'd say the "Definitive" Edition is at a passable state tbh. It's trippy because you gain so much with the nice graphics, resolution, framerate and a couple of quality of life features, but loose out on some music, cheats and glitches.

I see some screenshots. Im kinda at the point where GTA 6 has become such a meme over the years that my hype for it has diminished. I will buy it on release though, and i hope the game speaks for itself.

There was so much content - must have seen over an hour's worth of gameplay footage. Crazy how it all got leaked.

The rumoured premise/story looks to be true:

You play two characters, a man and a woman who are a couple, who have a "Bonnie and Clyde" type dynamic and go on a crime spree in/around Vice City. Looks pretty much like modern day VC but could easily be anywhere from the last 20/30 years. 90's would be cool.

Looks good even with it still being in really early stages of development.

That premise sounds quite promising if true. The story of GTA V really hurt my enjoyment of that game, it felt like single player took a backseat to what they had planned with GTA Online (which I have no interest in)

I felt like the story mode (which is also the only thing I'm interested in) felt wholly uncompromised. It was a full fat GTA game through and through. :o

Those are old articles. Since then it's been rumoured that because of the ****show of the trilogy "Definitive" Edition, they cancelled plans of a IV remaster. :(
