You've also got to consider the fact that it's the US and a lot of insurance companies don't tend to cover psychological treatment. For some of these women, taking the money might be the only way for them to pay for the help they could need to move on.
I saw something on Reddit the other day, it was a photo of a hospital bill for someone who had been bitten by a Rattlesnake. They were charged over a hundred grand for the treatment when the anti-venom would be sold in other countries for a pittance in comparison. For something that's seen as 'non-vital', therapy could put people into debt in the US. |

She has some very odd ideas about women from what I can see .. She’s said on SkyNews tonight that he’s never been raped or sexually assaulted because she doesn’t put herself in ‘those’ situations !! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |
That outfit and make up... she looks like she's off the set of a really bad 80s court based drama and her calfs are like a footballer :/ #bitchykizz

Is she daft ?!! , Ok yes some people DO put themselves in higher risk of being attacked, raped etc especially when they get their drinks spiked or walk home at night alone, but they're still victim's . And it's disgusting what happened to them. Plus there's women going about their daily business, or in their jobs who can get attacked & raped in broad daylight?, Does she want these women to be hermits? . |

She’s adamant that the tide has turned and guys don’t have a chance in court cases - as the court convicted her client after accepting those women’s accounts of what happened without any evidence. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

I'm pleasantly surprised that he got such a severe sentence, I was expecting him to get a couple of years at most knowing how ****ed the US Law system is.
I'm glad that he'll likely spend the rest of his life in prison, hopefully it'll be enough to help his victims heal. |
Good.

Quite happy with this sentence, was expecting something like 3 years under house arrest or something. Given how things tend to go with rich/famous people. |

Good. The walker didn’t work, nor did the “frail” appearance. I hope he rots.

It was intriguing to see him needing that ‘walking aid’ to get into court each morning yet as soon as he was convicted the ‘walker’ was taken home by his assistant.. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |
