No, the whole film is told in flashback by the aging Rose. She couldn't have seen half the things that happened in the film.

Like what though?

Inception and Interstellar. My two least favourite Nolan films.

I don't think it was literally meant to be her story in that sense. :joker:

She was telling her story of the disaster to the other characters, but we the viewers were just shown the full unfolding of the disaster.

Having said that, I don't think there was much in there she couldn't have been told about. Such as Jack telling her his own story of how he got on the ship etc.

Its a James Cameron film so the tightness of the script was never going to be a priority. For all the awards it won it is probably the worse film to have won Best Picture. It was no surprise it was not even nominated for best script.

That and Good Will Hunting would have been more deserving winners over Titanic.

I advise you to watch Crash and re-evaluate. :hehe:

Slumdog Millionaire.
I found it too emotional for me.

Titanic at least was well made and well acted. Crash was a travesty. :nono:

I can't remember about that.

I do remember little boys being blinded tho.

They cripple young kids and put them on the streets begging ... crazier than anything you could ever make up :(

...I really liked Crash, really disliked Titanic......

...the only other one I can think of atm is Fifty Shades of Grey because it had so much hype, I expected to be gripped and mesmerised...but the chemistry just didn’t exist at all for me...

Mystic Mock 16-02-2020 09:07 AM

Interstellar
Titanic
Halloween (1978 Movie)

Withano 16-02-2020 09:10 AM

Agree with Star Wars. Seen most of them once to work out what the fuss was. All the alien characters are irritating af. Anakin was the only half-likeable character until they gave him asthma. (I watched them in chronological order)

Withano 16-02-2020 09:12 AM

Inception
Most things with Leonardo actually
Mama Mia
Oceans Eleven
All Die Hards and all James Bonds

AnnieK 16-02-2020 09:16 AM

The Matrix films

Ammi 16-02-2020 09:19 AM

...I’m not sure that I was a huge E.T. fan tbh...not to the hype of it, anyway...

Then watch it again.

You must always give a good film multiple viewings.
